KeyMasters Escape Rooms — Local services in Hamilton

KeyMasters is the second escape room experience that I've had and it surpassed my expectations. The uncongested location at Grays and Barton was very easy to get to and has its own large dedicated parking lot right at the door. There are a good number of choices of places to eat in the area which is great considering the appetite you build up using all that brainpower to solve your way out of the escape rooms. Inside, the atmosphere is very professional, clean, and welcoming. The hosts were very warm and engaging, eager to ensure everyone is well prepared to enter into their adventure. The Mad Scientists room has a very creative design that immediately promises to be fun,and an introductory video helps set the stage for your experience and your objective. Once underway, every puzzle feels well conceived and connected to the storyline of the room. The puzzles easily draw everyone in to work together as a team with a part for each member to play. There is an element of surprise and fun in every puzzle that leaves you with such a feeling of accomplishment as a group that you would be excused for hoping the hour runs out before the puzzles do. With the promise of another room that is currently in the works, I am definitely looking forwards to coming back to KeyMasters again for another fun evening out...

💯 totally recommend! I decided to take my sister and 3 nephews here on March break. (ages 8, 11 & 14) I let them choose the room they wanted to try and they settled on, "The Green Mile." Prior to our arrival I called and spoke directly to one of the owners. She took the time to explain everything to me and assured me that they would include some "helper clues" so the youngest would be able to participate in solving some puzzles. I also really appreciated these since we were all new to escape rooms. Isabella was our gamemaster. From start to finish she was amazing. She was there to offer helpful clues when we were off track or having trouble. She happily engaged with the 3 very excited boys when we were finished and answered all the questions they had about other rooms. It's clear that Heather and her husband take great pride in the immersive experiences they create. Amazing details that transported you into a different place and time for an hour. If you're considering checking out their rooms... Stop thinking and book now! You will not be disappointed! We are excited to return and experience all the rooms. Thanks for the adrenaline...

We just finished the 4th and final room here, the alley a couple hours ago and we escaped with about 20 seconds left. We’ve done over 50 different escape rooms and can confidently say keymasters is the best. The rooms are so amazingly done, theyre themed so well, and theyre so immersive. The theming is honestly on another level. All the rooms are great, but the alley was my favourite. The hardest we found was either green mile or expelled. All the staff are super friendly and helpful, the hints they give are super creative as well, they dont just tell you the answer, they push you towards the answer but you still figure it out yourself. I saw a suggestion box when i was there for new rooms, and i wasnt able to put in my suggestion, but I would love to see a scary room. Maybe a morgue theme, or a room themed to the saw movies.
