I wish I could give this store a 0 star if possible. The owner (Amit) sure knows how to loose customers.
Walked in to order a footlong and a flatbread 6â with a coupon we had to use for free bag of chips or cookie.
The person working made the Tuna sub and the 6â chicken flat bread and was about to put them in the toaster. She saw our coupon and said we can not use the 2 in the corner and those were the ones we wanted to use and we came jn for.
She said the system is not accepting it, we asked to see if she can make it work in any way as she has made the 2 subs and we just want to use the free chip coupon, she says system will not accept it. We told her its not our fault and we came strictly for the coupon. She insisted she cant do anything, which we understood as she is the worker and not the owner. We asked her to speak to the owner as he may have some common sense and would work a way to make it right for the customer as its not our fault the system is not accepting it.
She spoke to the owner and said he (Amit) is saying he cant do anything about it. We asked to speak to him and she said that to call him in the morning as he will be in.
We then told her that we dont want the 2 subs she had made as its not right and this is not how business should be run. They wasted a footlong tuna on italian bread and 6â chicken flat bread over a bag of chips and it also costed them a bad review and not returning customers.
This could have all been avoided if the owner wanted to make it right , hopefully this is a business lesson in regards to how customer service works.
There are other reviews I read as iâm posting this that had the same issue, wish I had read those prior.
I will reach out to the head office and provide feedback in regards to my experience as I did not feel valued as a customer and they did not uphold their values and company mission over a bag of chips.
I believe my review is in line with other reviews previously...
Read moreI ordered a six inch sweet onion chicken teriyaki last night online for pick up in store. The pick up time was supposed be for 5:55, but I showed up at 5:45. I wouldnât have minded waiting because I was the one early. When I arrived they were just finishing preparing my sub. I took it home and upon taking my first bite I realized the sub was cold. It had not been toasted. It wasnât a little bit cold, it was clear that the meat had just come out of refrigeration. I wasnât able to go back out as my husband had dropped me off at home and left for the evening so I submitted feedback saying my sub was cold, it was not enjoyable so I did not eat it and requested that I get some sort of credit for the sub as it went straight in the bin and thatâs a waste of my money.
I get an email back from the owner Amit today and he said â Upon checking the video survellence your sandwich was toasted as per instructions and it wasnt cold. If you really like hot sub kindly dine in at store so you can enjoy it.â
I literally live 5 minutes down the road. There is no way that my sub would be that cold in the 5 minutes it took me to go home. Iâve eaten at this location plenty of times and had no issues with my sub getting cold from me leaving the store to when I got home when it actually has been toasted. Why would you tell a customer that their experience was wrong when you could just give them a replacement sub to make it right and continue to have them as a repeat customer? Complete nonsense.
Clearly by the dozens of other terrible reviews people have poor experiences with this location and the owner Amit all the time. Iâll never come back to this location. I would give this store zero...
Read moreIt's clear this Subway does not use the standard portions of meat. My husband ordered the brisket sub (which is $16, it isn't cheap), and there was the tiniest amount of meat on it. We had ordered from the Subway in Binbrook the week before and what a difference, it actually had the standard amount of meat on it. Other than the meatball subs that were ordered (guess it's more tough to cheap out on), all of our subs were very light on the meat.
In the same visit, my 9 year old son ordered the steak and bacon sub (again, not cheap) and they had forgot the bacon, which he didn't say anything until he had eaten a few bites (still most of it left). I get people make mistakes so I informed the person behind the counter, thinking they would remake it. Instead she put bacon in the fryer or however they warm it up, and then asked for his partially eaten sandwich and where they prep everyone else's food, she stuffed the bacon into what was left of his sandwich. This is a total HEALTH VIOLATION.
The only positive thing I can say about this place is it's been beautifully renovated. We will never go back to...
