I visited this Subway location with my friends on July 29, 2025, around 7:50 PM. There was a girl a indian girl working at the counter. When I first said “How are you?” to her, she ignored my greeting. I proceeded to order a regular bread, and she started mocking everything we said, turning it into a joke.
When she asked what cheese I wanted, I couldn’t remember the name, so I said, “normal cheese.” She then sarcastically responded and said something like, “Looks like your English has ended, let’s switch to Punjabi now.” She continued mocking us by saying things like, “I was just watching how long you could speak English,” implying that we couldn’t handle a full conversation in English.
This was extremely disrespectful and discouraging. We are new immigrants in Canada, trying to improve our English and adapt to a new environment. Instead of being patient or professional, the employee made fun of our language skills and tried to humiliate us.
This experience completely ruined our visit. It was the first time we tried ordering in English and instead of support, we were mocked and insulted. Because of this behavior, we have decided never to return to this location again. It was our first and last visit.
I hope Subway takes appropriate action and ensures that employees treat every customer with respect, regardless of their language...

She was very coarse, and was rushing through making our orders that toppings were flying, sauces were being slammed into their holders and it was just very alarming. It was very clear she was stressed out, likely because she was the only one working and I can imagine had a bunch of Uber eats orders in addition to the walk ins such as myself. I do not blame the employee, I blame the owners, who clearly would rather work their employees to the bone, then to spend the money and hire an appropriate amount of staff. Read moreThe service and food from the girl at the counter today was great but... the poor girl had to work all alone at the store today handling online orders, phone calls and in person orders. During the 45 minute wait, I watched her handle at least 10 online orders and the orders from the 5 people ahead and behind me. The management at this location is absolutely horrifying. The girl was very nice and apologized to everyone for the wait, but in the future there should be at least 1 more person working with her. Again no complaints about the food, but no one should have had to work that hard alone when they could have someone else helping them. The management...
