Clean, cheap, and fast.
The place was clean, well staffed, speedy, and professional. That is, your standard "cafeteria fast food style" atmosphere. The people and facility itself were great. Parking and amenities were fully wheelchair accessible. Choose your own drink and keep refilling it if you like.
I personally think that Taco Bell food is possibly the worst on the planet. It's supposed to be much healthier than other forms of fast food, and way cheaper than McDonald's, Wendy's or A&W. I would probably give most McDonalds an even lower score because although the food is slightly better than Taco Bell, McDonalds tends to be far slower in terms of service from when you pay to when the food comes; Macdonalds is WAY more expensive; and they nowhere near as hygienic as Taco Bell. Most McDonald's tend to be dirty these days. Every Taco Bell I've been in, including this one, appears immaculately clean, tidy, and hygienic. This restaurant is beautifully maintained.
Regarding Taco Bell food, this one is on par with all others Ive been to. I am absolutely grossed out by the white icky monstrosity Taco Bell mistakenly calls "sour cream" because it's powdery and tastes weird.
Although my work companions absolutely loved the food, I hated it. If my buddies also disliked it I would have given a 1 star. I get dragged to Taco Bell by my work colleagues all the time, ll over Hamilton, to Brantford and to Toronto. I hate Taco Bell so much. 🌮 It's a running joke at this point how much I hate the food. It's tolerable, just barely edible, and never my first choice. But my gosh darn work colleagues keep draghing us back for more. I don't usually leave viscious reviews but this is my honest opinion. Horrible, terrible tasting food. Only upside is it's very tidy eating here as the food is wrapped in such a way that nothing drips or spills, so your hands stay clean and out of contact with the food. Healthy-ISH. Yet clean and hygienic. Can't beat the value. So there you go....
Read moreWent to take out with my family. Ordered takeout via the drive thru for 37 bucks. The order has two $5 crunchwraps, 1 $5 taco supremes (which contains two) and nachos + some other stuff. Both Crunchwrap had no beans, one had no lettuce and tomato. Bag only had one taco supremes out of the two. And nachos were half the original serving size, missing the spicy optioned jelopeno and there was no liquid cheese. When we went inside to show the order missing and lack of proper service. There was an Asian employee, a white chubby employee and a tall man that smelt like cigarettes that yelled at us. An Uber eats guy came and the chubby white girl said, shut up for a minute and went to serve the Uber guy. They fixed us the missing taco but didn’t replace the nachos and the Crunchwrap. Just know, the taco they have had beef and we are vegetarian. My son was in front when we ordered, and when he gave a 40 buck cash bill, the tall white male took the change and put it in his pocket. Change was like 2 bucks, and we asked for it. He didn’t acknowledge it, handed us the bag and closed the window. When we told the guy what he did, when we were inside - the dude just said - ‘unless u have proof, I did no such thing’. We will not bring going to this location. We usually spend 40-45 bucks twice a week here,...
Read moreThe food quality seems to have improved over the years although the portions have seriously shrunk and the prices have dramatically increased just as they seem to have done everywhere since the pandemic. I had a steak burrito supreme with nachos supreme and a drink . The total was over $13.00 for what was really just filling enough for a tasty snack, not a meal. I took 3 bites from the burrito and still had not tastes any steak, only piles of mushy refried beans which didnt used to be in this item. I took it back up and was informed that it only comes with one small scoop of steak so they would remake it but it wouldn't have anymore steak in it. So my remade product was basically a tortilla with lettuce, cheese and a tiny dollop of sour cream since there apparently isnt any tomatoes in it either now. The nachos were crispy but again, no tomatoes and also no green onions so it looked pretty bare. It would seem that they have changed the nacho cheese and it doesn't taste nearly as good as it used to. I went back up and ordered the cinnabon delights which were very tasty but also quite small (smaller than the amazing shrinking Timbit) so the 4 piece order for 2.59 was just a tease. Overall, this meal was disappointing and unsatisfying to...
