Update-October 19, 2022. We went for supper making a reservation. I received a text to confirm the reservation. We arrived and were greeted in a friendly, pleasant and respectful manner by the management on duty. The server was very nice. We had a very nice supper and will recommend this restaurant and return in the future. Thank you to the staff and management for improving our experience at the restaurant. It was very busy but they were well staffed.

Update-September 28, 2022. I was very disappointed in the reception I received when I arrived at the hostess stand. There was a manager standing beside the hostess who seemed to be new. I wasn’t asked where I wanted to sit. The manager looked up and told the hostess ‘seat her in the bar’ instead of asking where I would like to sit. I never said I wanted to sit in the bar so I said I’ll sit in the dining room. This was very rude of him. While I was sitting waiting on my friend, he sat a couple beside me against the wall almost sitting at my same table since it was so close to mine. The couple joked that they were joining me at the table as a jest. There were no other tables occupied in the section where we were sat. They said the manager told the hostess to seat them at the bar as well and they declined that and said they wanted to sit in the dining room. The manager himself sat them and he looked miserable and the couple told me that he was rude and gave them attitude. It seemed he seated both of our tables close to each other with the rest of the section empty as punishment for asking to not sit in the bar. The servers were very good and friendly but this manager left me with a bad taste in my mouth turning the visit sour. We have come to this restaurant quite a few times since we were allowed to start eating indoors. It was good the last few times.

I ordered on Uber eats for Canada day supper. I order a family size wing dinner which came with 40 wings with choice of sauce and type of wings aka breaded or traditional. There was choice of dipping sauce for the carrots and celery. The items were packaged well. We also got a bottle of wine. The wine selection is decent. I also ordered bang bang shrimp which was cooked well and the dip was super spicy and reminded me a little of the Alabama pink sauce you get when eating southern...

ABSOLUTELY incredible service today. There was simply nothing like it. Jennifer was very approachable, friendly and amazingly accommodating. She's was the epitome of customer service. She gave our party the appropriate space to converse and not be bombarded; she checked to make sure our glasses were replenished and she even took time out to help us take some photos to commemorate our friend's birthday.

The food came out quick and hot. Each course was paced out just right. Everyone from when we were greeted at the front to the very end of our time at the restaurant were genuinely polite and friendly. Thank you for a very very great experience. We will be planning more visits in the near future for sure.

When you pay to go out service makes a world of difference. My friend tried a recommended drink but it wasn't to her liking. Jennifer immediately returned with a different choice to sample before offering a full glass of the new beverage. It's very rare to see a restaurant care that you enjoy your choice in beverage and not penalise you for the one you sampled. A very noble act that goes a long way.

I highly recommend the calamari. I was hesitant on trying their fries because they're not fresh cut but the dill dip makes them very delicious. My only other recommendation is that if you get the chicken club sandwich (which I thought was going to come on sandwich bread in a couple layers & not a bun), I'd ask for the bun to be toasted. I just found my sandwich to be soggy & difficult to enjoy. I did ask to take my sandwich home. I most likely will just transfer the insides of my sandwich onto a different bun for...

I don't leave many reviews. Only when I'm very happy or very disappointed. In this case, it's a VERY happy review.

The restaurant was quite busy but we had 6pm reservations so there was no issue getting a seat.

The service was outstanding. It's my fault and my wife's fault for not getting names, but we had one server get drink and app orders from us as she explained that our server was dealing with a huge table, then the other server took our dinner order. They both knew the menu well and never tried to upsell. They listened to what we liked and recommended items that made sense.

We shared the Bang Bang Shrimp which was terrific and usually order different things and share but this time we both wanted the grilled cheese burger. When I asked if it was worth it for one of us to order the poutine (extra cost) instead of the dill dip fries (no extra cost) our server honestly said to get the dill because it's the best. Glad we listened!

The grilled cheese burger was phenomenal. It was a perfectly buttery grilled Texas toast style bread with an awesome burger and "American" (aka Kraft single) cheese. I'm a big fan of that cheese on a burger, but to each their own.

The fries were some of the best I have ever had and our server wasn't kidding... that dill sauce is something I would commit a crime for.

Highly recommend this place for a casual night out and some highly upscaled pub food. My wife and I will certainly be back.
