Went to Tim Hortons for the first time in a long time. Parked and walked inside the store to order. Myself and another customer waited and waited in line for service (both cash registers were NOT serving customers). There was 2 cash registers open but for some reason when it was my turn, they both disappeared. It was clear to me that the staff at this Tim Hortons were more concerned about serving customers in the drive thru instead of customers waiting inside their store. This is not the first time I have noticed this. This is unacceptable. I'm trying to save the environment by not being lazy, parking my car, and walking into the store only to be left waiting and waiting while staff ignored us (customers in the store) while drive thru customers received preferential treatment! I questioned the server when I was finally called to place my order and she said it was something to do with training on a different cash register, but I challenged her on it and said, well that's one cash register, but what about yours...there was no training on your register, so I'm sorry but that's no excuse. Bottom line, is customers in the drive thru are more important than customers who take the time to park and go inside the store. The customer behind me totally agreed with me. I was very close to just walking out of the store. I can guarantee, I will not be heading to Tim Hortons any time soon! I have no problem waiting in line when other customers are being served, BUT when I'm waiting in line and both cash registers are empty and not serving anyone while customers wait in line....that I have a problem with! It's called BEING IGNORED! Oh and my english muffin was soggy, not toasted at all...tasted like it was microwaved instead of toasted...no crunch at all, just soggy. And the hash browns were cold and not...
Read moreExperience this morning was way below expectations. Only one person working walk in orders, and she was absolutely under-trained. Had to repeat my order 3 times, which wasn’t a problem until I was ready to pay and was told “couldn’t hear you, don’t mumble”. I brushed it off, as I understand Tim Hortons team members deal with a lot of guests who are rude, and entitled. Maybe she was having a rough morning. To then be tossed my coffee, no “have a good day”, “thank you” or even a “here you go”…. Just seems that the lack of guest interaction is also missing.
That level of guest disrespect to a paying customer for absolutely no reason is uncalled for. Clear mis-management or genuine employee negligence for their job. As a fellow fast food worker - I would be ashamed of myself, or my colleagues would treat our guests the way I was today.
Hoping management reviews this feedback and applies it to better this location. I will definitely not be a...
Read moreWorst Tim Hortons in Hamilton. Everytime I go in the place is completely empty(customer wise) yet it takes 7 minutes for me to get a double double. always see 6-7 employees in a circle in their kitchen just chatting it up and 1 employee actually working.
Edit: thought to give them a second shot after a few years and it's still garbage. I sat in line for 10 minutes at 5:30 2hen there was no one else it line! I over heard a employee say hey there's no orders in drive through can you help front? All I order was a soup(which they were out of my first two choices) and yet these ppl cant seem to fill a bowl in half a minute jesus I'm done with this location also I think they are paying people to write good reviews for them so that all the negative ones get washed out. All the 5 stars are the fakest things ive seen while the 1 stars go into complete details why...
