Shocked with the way I was treated during my visit late Saturday September 20th…I was on my 2 hour drive home and was in need of a tea. Saw the light on at this Tim Hortons once I got off the highway so I pulled in. The time was 10:56pm. The menu display was on..all signals of the location being open.
I understand customer facing jobs and I figured at this time of night there is probably only 1 staff member in there so they could be busy. I patiently waited at the speaker/menu until the menu screen went off. At this moment I checked the time, 11pm on the dot. This made me understand this location closes at that time. I drove up to the window because I wanted to inquire about why I was left sitting at the speaker when I was clearly there before closing. The employee acted like she didn’t see me, I honked my horn (a short one), she didn’t respond, she was punching buttons at the register by the drive thru window so I said “hello” out loud to which she heard me and finally acknowledged.
As soon as she opened the window she started saying “we are closed”. I said what time did you close? She responded 11. I replied that the time is currently 11:02pm now and I’ve been sitting by the speaker for several minutes and no one had the courtesy to even just say “sorry we close in a few mins and have already closed everything down”. To which she replied “you were only sitting there for a few minutes”. I replied that all I wanted was a tea but if they preferred to not assist me it would’ve been nice to not be ignored and just made aware they didn’t want to provide service the last several minutes before closing.
The principle of being ignored and not being acknowledged to be given the courtesy to even just say “we will not be taking anymore orders before closing” is really frustrating and upsetting...

Tshirt says it's supervisor' The girl is rudest supervisor i have ever seen my order was 1 ice coffee with cream extra base and chocolate syrup in it ! So apperently this store doesn't have chocolate syrup and they have chocolate hazelnut syrup so they are adding that one ! My girlfriend is allergic to hazelnut on going there and showing them full cup of medium coffee as we didn't had it we told them that this is not the order we placed ! And my girlfriend is allergic to hazelnut she said 100 people are taking the same syrup as our store doesn't have it we use this pne and no one complained! And also we are indians so you should better be not coming for replacement as we all wprked hard and i am working since afternoon so don't try to tell me what's right or wrong ! Idk what's with community thing ! Secondly if you are adding chocolate hazelnut instead of chocolate syrup you should better be telling us ! Third please don't give your supervisor long shifts as they are not able to handle customers well ! I work in amazon nearby and will make sure to let my colleagues know about my experience! Hope this tim hortans owner gets some sense and give there staff some training on how to behave ! And dear owner if she refuses anything from above mentioned things please check the cameras! Read moreThis has to be the biggest amateur operation I have ever witnessed. The staff is completely out to lunch, there is zero customer service and minimal communication. Half the time I pull up at the window I do not hear a single word from the server. They move like turtles and simple items take the longest time to make and serve. I have witnessed vehicles leave the drive thru, including myself, on multiple occasions. My order is messed up constantly. A plain bagel with butter suddenly turns into a different bagel with cream cheese too many times. Very basic requests and orders that cannot be followed. However I do feel bad for the staff as from my experience management is just as incompetent. I once witnessed a manager put a sign up stating the store was sold out of ice coffee. The manager proceeded to bark at an employee that "she cannot even make an ice coffee so we are putting up the sign". Seriously? Because one staff member cannot make a product you become sold out of it? How immature. Be a manager and teach her how its done instead. Just an absolute joke.
