So disappointed with the service provided there but it's a good thing there are other locations nearby. I went through the drive through and waited a few minutes before being attended to. I collected my order and realized my muffin was missing. When the attendant came back to the window I said miss you forgot the muffin. Rudely with attitude she responded you didn't order a muffin. I looked at her and said yes I did. She responded by saying did you see a muffin on the screen, you never ordered one. At that point I got angry. I said excuse me ? She walked away and came back with a muffin and at that point I said to her keep your muffin and you need to learn how to speak to customers after all I didn't went there to beg for anything. I sat in the drive through with disbelief as I couldn't understand why she was being so rude . Meantime the supervisor was on the floor and I basically had to call out to another employee to get me the supervisor so I can ask if that's the way customers should be treated ? And all she said was I would talk to her. I spend approximately $400 a month at this location . She could have simply get the muffin as I was not hustile towards her. Rude and lack of customer service skills. I would never write a review but felt compelled to as I was applaud by this. Some days I wonder if the owners of these business read the reviews to improve their business. Apart from that the food is ok. The drive through is usually full but it's a busy area so that I cannot complain about. The location on Dewitt Rd and Hwy 8 is absolutely amazing, not much of a wait time and the staff is friendly that's where...
Read moreDear Tim Hortons team,
I wanted to share an experience I had recently at your Fruitland Road location on Barton Street, Hamilton.
On my birthday, I decided to take advantage of the free birthday coffee promotion available through the Tim Hortons app. As a regular customer and a loyal fan of Tim Hortons, I was looking forward to redeeming this offer for the first time. However, when I arrived at the Fruitland Road location, I found that the staff seemed unfamiliar with how the birthday promotion worked.
Instead of assisting me with redeeming my complimentary coffee, the staff immediately asked how I would like to pay. While I certainly don’t mind paying for my coffee – I do so daily, and it’s not about the few dollars – it was disappointing that they were not knowledgeable about the birthday promotion. I had looked up the offer and followed the steps through the app, but despite this, I ended up paying for my coffee because the staff didn’t seem prepared or willing to help me redeem it.
This occurred around 2 a.m., just before my shift, so I was hoping for a smooth experience to start my day. Unfortunately, this situation left me feeling a bit disappointed. My wife had a very positive experience on her birthday at another Tim Hortons location in Mississauga last month, so I had similar expectations for my visit.
I wish the staff had been more informed and willing to assist with the promotion. While this experience will not deter me from being a loyal Tim Hortons customer, I do hope that future visits, especially for special occasions like birthdays, can be...
Read moreEvery time I go to this Tim’s now, the girls are just so rude and act like you are their biggest inconvenience. On top of that, every time I go the same girl makes the most horrendous iced coffees for my boyfriend and I. She dumps your entire stock of cream into one coffee lol. I literally had to return a coffee 3 times the other day and it was still garbage but I just gave up after that. Today, I pay $15 for them to hand me timbits and a couple donuts. When I said I had two iced coffees too, they were so confused and then after a lot of tapping on the screen, eye rolls and a couple minutes they bring me out two hot coffees. I was like no, I ordered iced coffees, and I’ve held up the line for so long now I’ll just come inside. I was greeted at the counter with a girl holding two empty cups and had the most ugly scowl on her face. I almost wanted to apologize to her, even though everything that happened was not my fault. I was there today just after 5pm.
Additionally I want to comment on the quality of the food now. I was just telling my boyfriend about how as a kid Tim’s made the best timbits, covered in glazed and super moist. Not anymore lol. These are the most crusty, disgusting, dry timbits I’ve ever seen and it’s been multiple times now. This is the closest Tim’s to me but honestly the service and experience the last few months has been so bad I’m willing to drive the extra few kilometres to go to the other one. See ya ltr.
Oh and PS your coffees have stained so many of my clothes because of your poor...
