COBS Bread — Restaurant in Heritage Valley

Freshly baked? Yes! Tasty? Yes. Outstandingly tasty? No.

Standard bakery, good bread, pastry selection is sufficient and I'm sure lots of people have their all time favorites from here. Another thing that is helpful is great location and hours! Lots of bakeries are actually closed on Sunday, but this one is here to help sweeten up your morning! Thing that doesn't help is lack of tea/coffee - I'm sure they would be able to benefit from this addition. But - this is up to the owners!

Tried scones (picture below) and focaccia bread with garlic - again - standard. Scones were soft, some were actually lacking flavor, but still good! Focaccia was fluffy, with quite a bit of cheese. For people who are missing carbs - best option :)

Love their bread, but not a big fan of their customer service. I brought an e-gift card, the owner or manager bluntly asked me to read the long barcode number twice while many customers lined up behind me. Kept saying that he never had an e-gift card before instead of suggesting possible solutions.

A few days later, I went to a different location. They dealt with the gift card much more professionally. They first kindly asked me to stand aside since they expected that it would take some time. Once they finished helping other customers, they took out an instruction sheet, followed the steps, and made it happen. I didn't feel rushed or felt bad for bringing something that they weren't familiar with unlike the other location.

Had to start Gr. 3 off right with COBS Bread, Ham & Swiss Croissant for lunch! My sons favorite!!!

The staff, especially Cheyenne, always go out of their way to make it such a positive experience for him, as he goes in all by himself since last year. The bakers were calling for him by name, to have a great 1st day back at school, heartwarming
