This PrimeTime has heart, and will be my first preference among all the locations.

Each PrimeTime location is not made the same. So for this restaurant, I will say that the team here is the most consistent in terms of customer service, with so far the best version of crinkle cut fries I've come across throughout the chain.

I'll give an example. When this chain was thinking about switching over to exclusively straight cut fries in the Costco style, I learned this upon coming back home and opening up my order of poutine. I called to say I was essentially not coming back due to their choice and left it at that.

Shortly after, I got a call from the owner, and I was told that this comment was taken seriously, and was something the chain was aware of. Instead, PrimeTime would be offering two different cuts of fries, and I was asked to come back with an offer to have my next order on them. I did come back, and I did not take the offer.

After that this particular location and its staff impressed me. I know each business has ongoing issues with consistency, but I also know they try despite good...

Ordered a beef primetime donair. The wrap was pretty good and satisfied my craving. However, I did order extra cheese, and it still wasn't enough. If I pay for extra cheese, I expect every bite to have at least a decent amount I can taste. Also, another small gripe....I didn't ask for peppers, but my donair had them. It'd be a good idea to pay a bit more attention when making the customers' orders. The little details go a long way, especially when there are plenty of other donair places in the area competing for business.

Overall, the food was good, and I will definitely return again in the future.

UPDATE:

Came here last week to give it another try and was severely disappointed. Customer service is dead here; workers don't care at all. The one who took my order never said a single word to me, which is why he got my order wrong. No bag for my takeout order, and just a single napkin only.

Food and basic service has gotten worse here. Oh well......plenty of other donair joints to choose from. Will not be back ever again.

4/5...

The food was ok. Not disgusting, but not amazing either. For some reason, even when I took the food to go, I was still asked for a tip, but okay. I'm giving a bad review because the guys don't know how to wrap shawarma (I mean flatbread). They do this not for your convenience and not so that you can eat it later. Everything is wrapped in one layer, along with the cake, foil and the bag, and in order to eat it you either have to unwind everything and roll the cake yourself, or try to somehow pull the cake out with your teeth while you tear the bag with your hands. No matter how carefully I tried to do it, spreading the napkins over my feet and holding the bag underneath, the sauce still leaked down the side of the tortilla due to the way it was folded. The result is stained pants in a bad place, which, alas, cannot be washed with anything.

After the owner's response, I still wrote to their email. But there has been no response for a month. Apparently,...

This was $10 chicken donair. About the size of my 4 year olds yogurt drink. The wrap weighs about as much as a sock. Literally. Had to get a rotisserie chicken from superstore once I picked this thing up. Very disappointed. ****update**** spoke to the founder, who confirmed this pencil donair is “designed for women who cannot eat as much as man”, and minimized the obvious rip-off. He told me not to be so cheap next time.

I don't eat donairs nearly as much as I used to, but, I still having a craving for one every now and then and PrimeTime always satisfies. The portion sizes are great, the meat is well-cooked and seasoned, the sweet sauce is delicious, and they don't skimp on the toppings. They are quite expensive now compared to pre-COVID times, but at least I know the quality is consistently good every time I visit one of their locations.
