Absolutely Horrible Experience – Never Coming Back!

If you’re thinking about grabbing food from the A&W in Ingersoll, do yourself a favor and don’t. My experience here was beyond infuriating, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

I showed up at around 1 AM to order a Masala Veggie Burger, which I now regret. The woman working the drive-through was either asleep, completely checked out, or just didn’t care that a customer was waiting. I sat at the speaker for minutes, wondering if this location was even open before she lazily mumbled through the intercom.

When I pulled up to the window, she took my payment (fine), but then made me wait an agonizing 10 minutes for ONE burger. And the worst part? She was wearing earphones and clearly talking to someone else the entire time, completely ignoring me. When she finally handed me my cold, disgusting excuse for a burger, I tried to ask for ketchup, but she had the nerve to slam the window in my face. Whether she didn’t hear me or just didn’t care, I don’t know – but either way, it’s beyond unacceptable.

This was the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The food was trash, the service was non-existent, and I was treated like I didn’t matter at all. If this is how A&W treats paying customers, I’ll never set foot in one again – and I’d advise anyone reading this to steer clear of this location unless you want cold food...

I usually never post reviews but I honestly just had to this time. I haven't been to a lot of restaurants but this experience was the best I've ever had. Went in and we got a chicken burger combo, the two girls are the front were so so nice, gave our drinks and told us they would bring our food to our table. Honestly that just felt so sweet, usually u have to take your own food but her bringing it to use while we could use the bathroom was so very nice. While we were eating, I could hear her check up on the couple behind us and to see that in a fast food place compared to any other ones Id been to before was new to me! Great food and got it in a timely manner. It was obvious it was the lunch time rush and the trays and glasses were piled up. A patron came in and started to make a scene about the slow service. The girl behind the counter explained to the patron, that the kitchen was backed up and getting their order in would not speed up the process. I thought the girl handled the situation very professionally and able able to help out the patron in mear moments. Not many would have handled it the way she did, and de-escualted the situation immediately. Right after dealing with that, she promptly started cleaning up trays and dishes.
