Wild Wing Ingersoll — Restaurant in Ingersoll

As a local resident of Ingersoll, the dining choices within the area are limited at best, my wife and I were excited when a new restaurant opened. That being said we bundled up and headed out to the Ingersoll location......place was somewhat busy with what appeared to be a local hockey team. We sat down within 30 seconds of siting the waitress asked if we were ready to order...... hmm should have been a precursor as to how the dining experience would be. We ordered a beer ,my wife ordered the fish and chips which looked tempting from the menu picture. That being home made!!!. I ordered a Texan Chicken sandwich .... Some 20 min later my wife food arrived to the table ....can I say not at all what the picture indicated, literally a piece of frozen fish overcooked to the point we contemplated using it as a emergency window break in tool. Portion was minimal for the fish and chips and price was higher than the norm .My meal arrived about ten minutes later needless to say the server was sorry. Literally the portion was the size small cereal bowl, and to top it off they sent the wrong sandwich...what i got was a chicken sandwich which looked to be boiled it was cold, no toppings and amount of fries could be counted on two hands all for 18.95. My wife attempted to consume her overcooked frozen fish stick...she tried but in her words the worst meal she ever had, I waited and waited and waited and waited some more for a server....finally a random employee was walking through I waved my hands, got their attention, and discussed my order, I was asked if I wanted my meal replaced.... sadly by this time I had lost my appetite, and was looking forward to a cheese sandwich when I got home...Needless to say we will not be back. Food was overpriced, portions are terrible and service was limited.....sad sad sad....this Town deserves a place that has value, with good food in this case Wild Wings struck out.....One good thing the beer...

I've NEVER had an experience like THIS before! We arrived at 7:20pm and ordered our drinks (1 beer & 1 water) at 7:25. The drinks came 10min later at which time we ordered our appetizer.(bruschetta) It took another 15min for it to arrive at our table at which point we ordered our mains. (1/2 rack ribs & mushroom swiss burger) It took an additional 1hr and 30min for our food to be brought to our table!!! Im not exaggerating! It was then 9:30pm. (We had planned on been home by then.) We weren't even asked if we wanted another drink the entire time! Half way through our meal (About 5min because the ribs were so small; Tasty, but small.) the waitress brought a plate of potato skins and argued with us, insisting that we had ordered them! After some banter back and forth, she tried to prove us wrong by checking her notes, only to find it belonged to someone else. (No apology) It took us only another 5min to finish eating at which point I went to use the washroom while my wife asked for the bill. The bathroom sink would only TRICKLE a LITTLE water, making it hard for people to wash their hands. Never have we ever left a restaurant without leaving a tip before... until tonight. Oh ya. The music was pretty good! Respect and thanks to those preformers on open mic night! However, it was so loud that I witnessed one woman put in ear plugs she had in her purse, and another go to the store beside the restaurant to see if they had any she could buy! Some people would literally be startled when a song would call for the performers to emphasize some lyrics. Hopefully others had a better experience than we did. ☆ NOTE ☆ Thank you to the owner for reaching out about this; That means a lot! If we do end up going back for a second try and the experience is better, I would definitely re-review Wild Wing...

Wild Wing Ingersoll – Amazing Service! Worth the Drive!

After a terrible experience at the Tillsonburg Wild Wing, we decided to leave immediately and give the Ingersoll location a try — and we are so glad we did! The service here was exceptional from start to finish. The staff made us feel welcome and valued, which was the complete opposite of how we were treated in Tillsonburg.

I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea, and it was twice the size of what I got at the Tillsonburg location — and it was made perfectly. The wings were delicious, the portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. My fiancé and I also brought along his little brother and the owner personally made him a “fancy” lemonade with lots of candies and fruits. They were all so sweet as it was for his birthday and you could tell the staff all get along great from the way they interact with customers and each other.

The staff at Ingersoll made us feel comfortable and treated us like family. They didn’t rush us, they checked in to make sure everything was perfect, and they really went above and beyond to provide great service by packing our food for us!

From now on, we’ll be making the extra drive to Ingersoll from Tillsonburg. It’s 100% worth it for the quality service, great drinks, and huge portions.
