You know, I don't really write reviews because I'm subscribed to the philosophy that sometimes people are stressed, tired, or going through a tough time so they can't bring their best selves to work. I've certainly been there. But this young girl who served us needs a stern talking to and an attitude adjustment soon, or else she'll have an extremely hard time in life as an adult if she's not shown a better way. Also, this location has an inordinate amount of 1 star reviews complaining about similar behavior, so I wanted to highlight this.
For reference, in case the manager of this location cares about improving his branch and wants to improve the service by having a talk with this person, we were served on December 24th between 11 and 11:30. This is about the girl working the food counter, wearing two tiny Santa hats on her hair buns (the irony of the contrast—the rude, curl-lippednastiness paired with the joyful Christmas accessories—wasn't lost on me). Short-tempered, bad management of her emotions so she kept lashing out at her coworkers when she ran out of something, and quite literally devoid of any customer service skills, like she was being held by force to stand there and interact with other people—both customers and colleagues. She was quite unpleasant and rude even when she made a mistake. This is the behaviour of children, not well-adjusted grown-ups working a job facing other grown-ups. For starters, a lot went wrong about our order and we were actually okay with that! They realized they didn't have any of the bagels we wanted after we paid and during the preparation of the food so we adjusted, 5 minutes for more eggs to be prepared? No problem! But then she smacked our sandwiches with the wrapping covered in butter and without a paper bag, so we asked for some bags so we wouldn't get our hands dirty. We also suggested she changes her gloves so other people after us don't complain about the issue. You know, still trying to help her out in spite of the fact that this is not a person with the mental capacity or maturity to accept help and saw us with the same disdain as dirt under her nails. Didn't say a word to us as she shoved the sandwiches in a bag, didn't apologize for the mess, and simply acted like we weren't customers that she has to treat with manners. We realized saying anything to her wasn't worth our time because this is someone that decided she was going to make everyone's visit at Tims that day unpleasant with her immature behaviour. Whether unconsciously or not, that's for someone close to her to help her understand.
As for Tims, I've submitted a ticket to customer service but those never get an answer, so I don't wanna hear the canned reply to this review offering to make ammends when we all know compensation ain't happening and those messages are about looking like a good little logo that cares. Save it, customer service rep with the task of community management, for both our sakes, I work in Marketing Management and I know the playbook. Was offered a soup, but Chili's more expensive than Soup. Eventually received a Tim's card with the amount pre-paid for the Chili.
Why did I come back to this disaster ? Anyway, 12 noon Saturday August 13, 2022. Ordered a large Chili and a medium Strawberry creamy Chill. "Sorry, Chili is not ready yet". It's 12 noon lunchtime and there's NO CHILI ??? Ordered a Chicken Noodle Soup instead. Creamy Chill arrived without topping, that's the best part. Soup, roll, etc. in a paper bag. Sat down and unpacked Soup. No butter, no knife. Good Grief!! Not that it affected me, but one of the staff announced that they were out of Hashbrown as well. This place is right next to Highway 401. Don't they know they might get a bit busy on a nice August weekend ???
Saturday May 15, 2021 just after 3:00 pm. Pulled into the drive thru. 1 car ahead of me. Ordered 1 black coffee, 1 French Vanilla coffee, 2 donuts. Paid by tap at pickup window. Window server pushes delivery tray through serving hatch. The lid on the black coffee had not been put on correctly. Boiling hot black coffee cascades over the driver's door onto the window controls. Also, this was the first day of 2021 I decided to wear shorts. The scalding coffee splashed onto my bare thigh. All the server said was "Sorry, would you like a couple of napkins?" Read moreVisited the drive through at this location today and as I was exiting the driveway I hit an extra large pothole that could easily have damaged my tire, or wheel or suspension or all of them.I have noticed this hole before but over the last 2-3 weeks, as I have been out of the country, has grown to be wide and deep.Now the owner is aware of this hazard if they visit this location at all. It might cost a $100.00 to fix it so no one has any damage to their vehicle, but it seems that this problem is being ignored. A damaged wheel, tire or suspension could cost hundreds of dollars if not thousands. Let this review be notice that if damage to anyone's vehicle occurs in the future, then this location is fully liable for the costs. Be responible and get it fixed.
