Went to this location earlier today with a coworker. He had ordered a bagel with peanut butter. When he got to the table and sat down, he removed the bagel from the bag, but did not notice any peanut butter so he approached the counter and politely asked for a peanut butter. They said you were only charged for one peanut butter and he said correct, but I didn’t get it. A young lady behind the counter screamed at him that she put it in the bag and he showed her the bag and said there’s no peanut butter in this bag and she yelled at him again, saying I put it in the bag and he said well the bags here in my hand and there’s no peanut butter. She then yelled at him, call me a liar again if you keep doing that get out of the store now. My coworker went back to the table and he looked for the peanut butter again. It was actually located inside the wrapper with the bagel so he gave back the second peanut butter that they gave him and apologized.I was completely blown away by this young girls attitude, and the way she spoke to a customer in the store in front of other customers and employees. You could tell that the other employees were uncomfortable with her outburst by the way, they looked at her, one other employee had said to her that’s enough and told her to calm down. I used to work in the service industry, I can tell you that this customer service was absolutely unacceptable and the owner of this franchise, should be embarrassed that their employee spoke to a customer that way. This type of customer service and toxic attitudes destroys business. As a current worker in the food manufacturing industry, the way that bagel and peanut butter were packed together in the same wrapper is not good food safety practises. You do not place a contaminated peanut butter packet inside the wrap with somebody’s food. That is disgusting. That young lady should be fired, and the rest of your employee should be retrained on good food safety practises and...
Read moreThe only reason i stop at this location is purly out of convience. But i will avoid at all cost if possible. Either they need new headsets or they need to clean there ears out. Everytime i have to repeat my drive through order 3 to 4 times and when i hit the road i find out its wrong. How do you mess up a medium coffee 2 milk. Well they seen to do it. I stopped ordering bagels. They hardly toast it and spread the cream cheese like its butter. When i complained to management the response was i assure you they measure the cream cheese. This is not true, when i go inside to order so many times i see them scoop with the spreading knife. The same can be said with the last sandwich i ordered a turkey club with 2 peices of very thin turkey and 2 peices of bacon but a mound of mayo i guess to cover the shortage of meat. I just cant stand this place anymore it is full of incompentence right from the servers to the management no one seems to care. The line ups both inside and drive through are also so terribly slow. It amazing that one tims can be so lacking, incompetant and uncaring and the one in alliston is always on point. I guess there is a good thing that is happening here, because of there service level the a&w by the 400 is getting alot more business. I will travel the distance to the a&w from now on for a real breakfast and delicious coffee. Also 24 hours and great service. I suggest you do the same. Dont go to this cookstown location you...
Read moreThe Tim Horton’s location in cookstown is one of the worst ones I’ve been too. I get up early every morning I always hope that this location opens at 5am like they are supposed too, which never happens, every morning they are late. When you get to the menu screen they never have items that are listed saying that it’s not available. I find this bullshit because even on my way home they don’t certain items again. This morning was the worst . My brother and I waited until 5:10am with the pylons in the drive through. We had at least 10 cars behind us and we even saw people turning around and leaving . We had to remove the pylons because we couldn’t back up and we were late for work. When we got to the actual window because the lady wouldn’t answer the screen menu. She ended up telling us her friend had a flat tire and she didn’t even have any coffee ready to serve us, what was she expecting to do wait for her friend to get to work anytime soon while there was a long line in the drive thru and can’t back out. She ended up just shutting the window . We were mad and so were the people behind us. This location is the worst and I recommend if your going to work and don’t want to be late don’t come here especially if you want something like a croissant with your coffee ( they never have that in the morning) we are just going to start going to either the Tim Hortons in Alliston or even just hit the A&W just before we...
