I came from the good reviews and promise of fresh food. To be honest it was very fresh and in itself was okay. But from the moment we walked in, I felt the lady was intent on anything but customer service.

Flavors were great in one item (Donair wrap); mediocre in one item (Thai salad); and bland in two others (sweet chili bowl and quasadilla). My daughter noticed the sweet chili bowl had almost no sauce on it except for the chicken, which makes for a not great bowl. I politely asked the front if they could give us a bit more sauce on the side as there was none except for a drizzle on the chicken. She told me that was just how it was cooked and they'd have to charge $2.10 for more. I already paid $18 for the bowl and it was dry! It wouldn't be hard to say, "hey we're sorry, here you go." And if you're thinking, you can't do that for everyone, sure you can, OR you could just add sauce to the bowl.

The quasadilla was very bland and crispy they told me they couldn't make a half order for my toddler, which I understood and didn't make a fuss over and just ordered the $17 adult version. But it was kinda just one more thing.

Lastly, the lady at front got annoyed at me when I asked her to clarify a special on the sign. She said no one understands. Maybe write it more clearly, because it's not my fault it doesn't make sense. I just felt her overall...

Great menu! Good indoor space. Outdoor tables available. Haven't tried the preorder option yet. I have had their food three times now, and although I don't usually splurge on a drink, their smoothies are amazing.

Re allergies: I debated dropping a star but didn't, as understaffing is a huge issue in this community, AND they have a LOT of options and will customize. A little more confidence is needed for myself atm, as they don't really tell you anything about their processes to ensure no cross-contamination. Rinsing a smoothie jug that had dairy in it is not really safe enough for me, but they don't tell me anything about a dedicated jug for vegan smoothies (no dairy protein powder).

Service at the till is a little concerning when it comes to getting deeper answers regarding allergies. Watching the staff discuss it was even more concerning. Then I was told they can't know because they discard the box the that the ingredient in question comes in - no no allergen info is even available to the staff?!?! I needed to know if the goat cheese was 100% goat cheese or cow milk based feta. I was twice now forced to chose no cheese because no one could get the answer. Someday I hope to know if they can make my natural but pricey wrap WITH the cheese it is supposed...

This is purely anecdotal, and of course everyone’s experience is going to differ, customer to customer. When we first walked in, we were immediately greeted with impatience and rudeness. Mind you, this is our very first time coming to this establishment so we’re just taking a look at the menu. There was no one behind us too, regardless for the length of time deciding and for any questions we had, the person at the register was very annoyed.

We felt rushed and discriminated against, when there was no need for that.

The main reason I felt so inclined to write this review because I felt my assumptions were validated when the next set of customers came through. Two white, older ladies and they were greeted with enthusiasm and the immediacy for assistance. Also, when their orders came out, they brought their food to them and said their names correctly… while when our orders came out, they butchered our names(we have english names) for being both south-east asian. And they made a huge fuss for asking for another fork!

Food was okay, very asian-fusion restaurant for only having non-asian workers there.

Experience was terrible, and it was baffling that this was felt for such a short interaction.

Would give negative...

Fuze in Athalmer is a delightful find—bright, cozy, and full of thoughtful details. I loved the pet‑friendly patio (bonus points for free parking and wheelchair access). The service felt genuinely warm—just the kind of place you want to linger over a cup of good coffee. It does fill up in summer, and the prices are slightly higher, but when everything’s this tasty and well‑done, it’s easy to consider it a worthwhile splurge
