I saw an advertisement about this restaurant in social media and being curious went to check it out.
This is a new restaurant , only a couple of months since it was opened. Its located at Saddleback Road. There are many other restaurants and shops in this location with free parking space. This restaurant looks very unassuming and ordinary from the outside. Its located at a corner of this complex. But the inside is surprisingly a different story. Its very spacious, clean, bright and with a pleasant ambience. The staff were very helpful , professional and friendly. Our server was Mr. Fayaz Mohammed. He helped us in our selection of dishes and also catered it specifically to our taste.
The food was genuinely very tasty . We ordered Lamb Biriyani , Goat Bhuna , Chicken Biriyani and Naan. Everything was delightfully delicious especially the Lamb Biriyani which tasted like a combination of Pakistani and Indian cuisine. There was sufficient meat in all the dishes. The Goat Bhuna was semi - gravy with soft pieces of boneless goat meat. The drinks and dessert was also good. The food was moderately priced . The quality and quantity served was good. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff. They do have a smaller space for family or official gathering. I would surely visit this...
Read moreWe went there last weekend for a dinner and ended up coming back again on the morning for breakfast. The food is really good. They have just opened the facility and I hope they will organize the place better gradually but in terms of Food, it is FABULOUS.
We have tried the Morog Polau and the Goat Biriany (I should say Kacchi Biriany). The Goat Biriany was so damn good, I wanted to buy few packs as take away. But I guess they don't sell that Biriany everyday and I didn't want to buy and hold for few days on my hotel fridge.
I felt so bad for not taking any picture of the food but that I completely forgot after seeing the food and from the smell :)
The price is also very reasonable, I would say. As a breakfast we ate Paorata, Lotpoti and mixed vegetable. The mixed vegetable was so simple dish but was equally tasty as all other dishes. Don't miss their Milk tea after the food.
Please try to maintain this quality of the food, cleanliness and reasonable price, we will come back every time we visit Edmonton.
Edit: I did have picture this time. Try their Goat Biriany, you will be amazed. But I heard from one of my friend, during week days they don't have...
Read moreHidden gem in the blue quill neighbourhood. We were mostly looking somewhere nice to have some tea. So, as this restaurant was really close to us, so we decided to give it a try. Got a simple snack aloo tikki chaat with tea. It was really good. The tikkis were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Chutney was tangy and sweet, salad on the top was also fresh and crispy. Tea was prepared well. It had the perfect kick of the spices and masala. I felt it was not enough quantity for the price for both the items. Also got complimentary gulab jamuns which were sweet and delicious, but cold. It was very quiet when we went, good quality and service. Overall 4/5 keeping all...
