Subway — Restaurant in Kincardine

3rd update: What kind of joke is this subway restaurant?? I’ve been to worst subway restaurants in my life but this one is worst then worst ever. Thought should give it a try again (usually i go to port elgin subway) so Placed an order through app. Got notification that order is ready at 6.25pm. Went there 6:30 my sandwich was still on the white prep board. Understood they were busy so don’t mind to wait but it was there for 12 minutes after toast then what is the meaning for toasted. I don’t mind to wait but at least cx should get fresh food that’s what they says eat fresh. Moreover, I’ve placed two separate orders of veggies patties because last time I mentioned that please mark one of them as one was for friend. This time after placing two separate orders they put still in same bag without labeling.

Finally got sandwiches after sitting down 12 minutes in white prep board at 6.45pm and that was cold sandwiches.

I think This store runs by employees only OWNER SHOULD dig into that. Either change management or ownership or make it right. It’s only one subway location in kincardine that why OWNERS wouldn’t care.

Done with this subway restaurant.

2nd update: went there yesterday at 8pm and it was closed and one of employee was outside waiting for ride and she told me they close at 7pm now. At least update the hours online.

I’m a big fan of subway and this place is ok but not...

Terrible value for your money. Ordered a salad and the bowl was barely half full. Eye roll when asked for extra veggies. Overcharged at the till for a drink we didn’t order. Asked for a refund, was “refunded to my credit card” as per the staff but the refund reciept was “cash”. When we questioned the staff we were told it would be on my card “in a couple days”. Of course it wasn’t. When we reached out to the store they said that they had no idea what I was talking about. I reached out through the feedback on the corporate website and got a generic response from the manager which did not address the refund. I reached out a second time directly to corporate and two weeks later received the exact same email from the manager without any resolution for being lied to and overcharged. The manager obviously does not care about their customers or having their staff lie. Seems this is part of their “new and creative ways” to scam people. Will never return to this location again and would recommend to anyone considering, choose anywhere...

Location- Strip Mall @ intersection of Hwy 9 & Hwy 21. Convenient going through.

Parking- plenty of free parking right outside doors.

Facilities- Small subway with limited seating. Can't comment on restrooms as I have never used them. Clean and well maintained.

Service- Polite, professional and prompt service always.

Fare- Skimpiest portions of meats and toppings of any Subway I have eaten at in three decades and nine provinces/states. Absolutely abysmal. Subs here are literally half the girth of same exact sub/toppings in Wingham for example.

Tip- Demanding tip when no service rendered and getting upset at customers for not tipping when no tipping is required is ridiculous.

For same money as a meal here; you could go to Akima House down the highway and actually be served a three course Japanese or Korean lunch freshly made from wholesome ingredients and no preservatives in a gorgeous atmosphere and pay exactly same tip for actual service.
