Noble Garden — Restaurant in King

So I ordered yesterday on the phone and they tell me my order but will be ready by 7:20. I get there about 715 and the nice young lady behind the counter says your order will be out in about 10 minutes. I say no problem. THE ORDER CAME OUT 55 mins AFTER THE PROMISED TIME. So I asked to speak to the manager. What makes it worse is no apology. It surprises me that a restaurant that has been in business this long has no idea how to run a business. Don’t promise a time, if you cannot be even close to it. Also if something unexpected happens. Then call me as soon as you realize and let me know. It’s very simple. OR. When I arrive, say hey, I’m very sorry sir but your food will take approximately an hour to come out, at least, then I have the option to cancel the order and go somewhere instead. This is not...

We ordered Szechuan Chow Mein, Singapore Noodles, Shrimp Fried Rice, and Beef with Mixed Vegetables. We noticed that the bamboo shoots and baby corn in both the Beef with Mixed Vegetables and the Szechuan Chow Mein tasted sour, which made the sauces sour as well. When we called the restaurant, they told us that they had used a new can and that it shouldn’t taste sour—bitter at most. I simply wanted the kitchen to check whether other dishes prepared around the same time might also have been affected. All I was looking for was an apology and acknowledgment that the baby corn and bamboo shoots were off, even if they weren’t technically expired. Recently went into the store the "grandmother" was obviously coughing and getting over some cold/flu...and worse is that they only take cash now during a pandemic....anything to not pay GST.........have they not made enough money? when does the greed stop........wake up Canada, everyone blaming each other they need a break but they don't care about your family....oh and food seems to be going down hill ever since new location.....I suspect if more development happens, quality will decline even more so.
