I'm at a bit of a loss on this one. I've ordered here once before and it was average at best. I tried to order just now and I see that it's free delivery for $25 or over. So I find three things that brings the total to that and call. I confirm with the young, most likely great at her job, order girl that I want to know if I qualify for the free delivery. She says that it is now $30 or over for free delivery and that I'm a dollar under. I then ask her how much all the items I just ordered are and every one was a dollar+ more expensive. So now I'm obviously quite annoyed because your website should correctly say what your prices are.

So I say to her, "listen I understand that websites may take a while to update but I called you with the impression this would cost me around $25+tax and tip. Now it's sounding like this will cost me over $29+delivery+tax+tip. Considering that your website is wrong at least four times I'd like the delivery charge waived for my order of almost $30." I'll have to ask the boss. Entirely understandable.

So he comes onto the phone and immediately starts with what's the problem. I explain that his website is extremely inaccurate, I'm trying to order a sizable order, and that I'd like the delivery fee waived for this order because of just how wrong their site is, and also cause I live 3 blocks away and don't want to be charged $4 or so for delivery. He raises his tone slightly and says that the website has been wrong for a long while. So I ask if he's saying that he won't cover the delivery fee and he says no and then he hangs up on me. I'm sitting here absolutely baffled by the whole exchange.

I called purely because of Deeann's recommendation and actually ordered those two items. What a mistake. Should have listened to everyone else. Owner is obviously absent-minded to let his website be incorrect on virtually every item and deal and rude to those who point out...

Took almost 1.5 hours to deliver. They delivered the wrong order and threatened to murder my wife. (Just to clarify in response to the only positive review, yes, this is the Kitchener location with the mentally unstable owner whom the cops had to deal with).

I called up, informed the owner that we had received the wrong dish, he responded by yelling racial slurs and swearing at me for a solid 1.5 minutes. Obviously I hung up.

No more then two minutes later he called me at my home just to yell and swear at me more, so I hung up.

Four minutes later and we are back on the phone for a final 'chat'. He is informing me (between his racial slurs and profanity) "I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE, I COMING TO GET YOU, I GET YOU AND YOUR WIFE, I COMING FOR YOU RIGHT NOW, I AM GOING TO SLIT YOUR THROATS"

I hung up and promptly called the cops. They are now dealing with him, turns out screaming death threats is illegal.

So in summation, I would say terrible food, service and lacking professionalism to an extreme.

😔 Lucky Garden is not really hurting. You raised the price of food. I don't see the GST break now.

$9 DELIVERY or buy $80 worth of food for free delivery. Don't forget GST taxes when it's back here. One driver always brings food late, well cooled down and looked like he even had bag tipped over during the ride. $2 tip unappreciated. I get some sort of grunt I don't understand. Then leaves. I saw the rice well moved down it's side. Luckily no leakage from containers. One will have to inspect the bag upon arrival. Do it before you pay! Lucky Garden is very good at packaging the food. I really apreaciate that.✌️

I did find the girls working the phone were very nice. 😃 Food is very good and a nice size portion.😁

If I had a car, I would pickup. For me to get free delivery ,, for two people, is way too much food.

Too Disabled to walk. So no more good food for us retired. We did spend for delivery and always had too much waste.

We do love Lucky...
