Mary Brown's Chicken — Restaurant in Kitchener

Regarding the Mary Brown's Location in Kitchener at Forest Glen Plaza...

I order Mary Brown's thru this location thru Skip the Dishes tonight....well lets just say that was a joke....because here is from what happen when I went to address my issues with Skip the Dishes regarding my order from Mary Brown's today...No I never asked from a refund they let start off my say that....but Mary Brown's could do something do to the issues from my order...but I am going to share the chat I had with a Skip the dish agent right here....

2. They missed one of the 5 piece tenders

( NOW I can tell you they DIDN'T SEND EVERYTHING...or I didn't receive everything)

But I guess in the end who cares about the customers, who cares about customer service, who cares if the customers get what he pays their hard earned money for right....Mary Brown's at Forest Glen Shopping Center doesn't care....or at least there staff did not tonight....so I am here addressing my concern....

But that fine....tonight order was 42.50 Last time was 26.82 The times before was 40.69, 21.96, 40.69,26.82 so in the last 2 months I ve spent in there restaurant 199.48....well I guess I was a sucker....well no more...as you don't care about your customer and can not admit when you...

It's unfortunate to have to resort to a NEGATIVE review; however, my family and I have experienced one too many problems with this ONE & ONLY location in Kitchener!

In the past there have been numerous times we have purchased through the drive-through where we've had a long strand of hair, embedded within the skin of the chicken, and times where we've specified substitutions AND PAID EXTRA for that reason and have gotten incorrect pieces!

Granted my complaints have gone to the manager who was kind enough to give me a FULL REFUND each time. This restaurant unfortunately is sub-par due to these issues, the staff on hand, causing the franchise to have to lose money.

My last straw was this evening, when having my daughter arrive to their Drive-through just an hour before closing time, ordering 3 piece meal, asking for 2 out of the 3 to be thighs. They said they did not have more than 1 thigh. So right there, the next customer comes in, they can't have a thigh for ANY meals they would order? So then we decided to order a 9 piece meal, to get the full bird, and was declined saying we only could have a bunch of pieces left they had available. They REFUSED, an HOUR BEFORE CLOSE to prepare a simple 9 piece meal?

Excuse me, but you're open, and just because you want to clean shop EARLY and leave a 9:00 pm on the dot, you refuse a paying customer because it will inconvenience your staff? Once more, no closing manager available? Oh and did I mention the staff member refused to provide me with their FIRST name, even though they all wear name tags?

So people, please, if you wish to purchase from this location, please be forewarned now. As it is, if you show up AN HOUR before CLOSING their motto is:

"YOU GET WHAT YOU GET! YOU...

Well I was deciding on what to eat for dinner sitting down going through today’s mail I came across a coupon flyer for Mary’s browns I decided I’ve never tried it why not try it tonight I then proceeded to drive drown from Waterloo to Mary Browns And when I got there realized I had forgot my coupon flyer I figured hey they can probably accommodate me I walked up the counter and politely said Hey I forgot my coupons I just drove from Waterloo I was hoping to get the double dinner for 15.99 plus some salads and drinks The girl working the counter gave me a sneer and said let me ask There were two or three other girls working and some sort of conversation going on

I was replied with a ”NO” “we need the coupon” With a pile of unused clean same looking coupons I had on the back counter wall below the kitchen window

I replied back with I guess I’ll have to eat somewhere else

The girl turned and laughed at the other Coworker

I walked out of the store and it seemed as if all the girls than gathered to have laugh about it

This happened today at 8:05pm 11/21/2019

Now i would normally think you know maybe there right I need the coupon

But in fast food these coupons are irrelevant There’s no code on them They could have easily helped me out

Now I’ll never know what Mary browns is like

I’ve been scared with girls laughing at my unfortunate situation

And I’m stuck with coupons that have no irrelevance no codes descended for the recycling bin

I don’t see any codes here on the front or the back

I guess I really am a joke for going...
