TandooriTwist Pizza — Restaurant in Kitchener

Last night, we decided to try TandooriTwist Pizza and it was an absolute delight! We were particularly excited to order the Butter Paneer Indian Style Veggie Pizza. During the order, I was asked about my preference for spice levels. I appreciated the thoughtful check-in, as they aimed to ensure we'd enjoy our meal without any issues. Confident in my tolerance for heat, I reassured them that I was all in for the authentic experience, looking forward to the green chilies, ginger, cilantro, and more.

When the pizza arrived, the flavours were fantastic. However, the spice level was more subtle than expected, barely tickling the taste buds when I was prepared for a bit more heat. It was less spicy than a jalapeno, which left me slightly disappointed, wondering if this was their standard spice level or if there was an assumption made about my spice tolerance based on our phone conversation.

Nonetheless, the pizza was great, and this minor hiccup won't deter us from ordering again. Supporting local businesses like TandooriTwist Pizza is important to us, and we look forward to exploring more of their menu in the future. A couple years ago I would have given this place 5 stars as the pizza and service was great. Im not sure if there was a change in staff or management but now it is not worth the cost.

My last pick up order I was told i could pick up in 20 mins. When I went to pick up I had to wait an additional 15 mins in store, while waiting I could see part of my order in the containers with the lids open letting all the heat out. Also the gentleman who was taking the food out and handling my food did not have a mask on or gloves. No one apologized for the delay. When I got my order home one pizza was barely luke warm and the fries were the same.

The most recent time I ordered it was through Skip The Dishes and the pizza I received was RAW , as in I couldn't even pull the pieces apart because it was raw. I tried calling and explaining that I couldn't eat my pizza due to this and I was told to take it up with Skip the Dishes, which I did and they only gave me a 50% refund. So I had to pay for a pizza that I couldn't eat.

Two years ago this was my favourite pizza spot, now I just go to Magic Pizza down the road and they are 100x more consistent...

I have been driving by this place for years and finally started ordering from them about a month and a half ago, boy have I wasted so much money on other pizza places. Thyme is the best pizza I have ever had!!! They offer individual sized pizzas and varieties to fit everyone in our family and even offer a build your own personal pizza. The price is comparable to what we were charged for ordering two large three topping pizzas at another establishment, only at Thyme we get five personalized pizzas that each of us enjoy. They’ve always had some sort of deal running every time we’ve ordered which is a nice treat. Once they were giving away onion rings, now it’s a regular addition to our order because they’re the bomb as well! They’re dog rolls, apple fritters and garlic bite things are so good also!!!!!! So much food yet there’s never any leftovers. We are yet to try their shawarma but that’s next! Their customer service is awesome! I had to change my order once and they were so gracious about it.
