Strike three! This is my third disappointing visit I stopped along the way to my Cottage to grab a little snack as I drive. My first visit I ordered a couple of donuts and they were stale. My second visit, I gave the girl the exact change to pay for my product she put it all in the cash and told me I was $0.50 short. of course at that point the money was all in the cash register and I had no way of recounting what I gave her but I had had the person with me also count the change to make sure that it was right before we gave it to her. I did not argue with her I handed her a toonie because that was all I had in my pocket and then she did not give me any change arguing that I had given her two quarters I insisted on getting my daughter 50 back. My third experience was today. I ordered a couple of donuts which were good and an extra large hot chocolate I watched you're prepared but was not really paying that close of attention by the time I got to Masham and my hot chocolate had cooled off enough to drink I realize that she had made me a medium sized hot chocolate and then topped the rest up with 3/4 hot water. Needless to say all my drink tasted like was hot water. I'm going to keep going back and watch them like a hawk they are going to treat me properly come hell or high water and every time they don't I'm going to post my experience right here for everyone to read. My feeling is that Tim Hortons in general does not give a damn about their customers anymore it's all about the bottom line and because there's no competition out there they think they can get away with what they want. I hope that all of you will post your experiences with this Tim Hortons and any other Tim Hortons that you have since it's been Americanized it's really gone downhill I want my old Canadian Tim...
Read moreThe initial few years after this Tim Hortons was built it operated very efficiently. But within the past 4+ years and despite a major retrofit, it has taken a severe nose dive in all 3 aspects google provides, food, service and atmosphere, and don’t even think about using the washrooms. Certainly not all but a healthy number of servers are rude, and are often too busy on their phones to serve you, whether you order inside or by the drive through. My wife (once upon a time) worked at a Tim Hortons and she specifically told me just how badly/poorly servers get treated, so I make it a point to be as polite and accommodating as possible, this has zero impact at this certain Tim’s location. Their comments can be often ignorant and or snarky, and if you order inside wait times are unbearable, people often waiting 15-30 minutes for food that was deemed at one time as “fast food”. It’s obvious how this plays into the atmosphere of the location. My orders at this location are often not prepared properly, not fully cooked or just a mess inside the bag, and once you’re back on the highway, it’s too late to turn back. Many who read this might ask “Why do you go back?” Well, it’s in a small town close to where I live, and its location by the high way is very convenient when in a rush, as well around this area options for “quick” snacks while on the run are limited. In conclusion I feel this Tim Hortons isn’t far off from being a much better location. I believe management is as much to blame as the employees and needs to up their game and either start holding their employees accountable for their actions or be better at the hiring process...
Read moreTim's is not the fastest food service place on the planet, but this one is ridiculous! Waited in side as 2nd in line for 10 minutes while about 8 staff milled around doing something, but nothing that seemed to serve customers. The drive thru window seemed to be doing OK. I finally gave up and left, but noticed the drive up line was short, so joined it. I was 5th in the drive thru line. Then I noticed there was no place to make my order before I got to the delivery window! Sure enough, I couldn't get my coffee, because I had not seen the order location. It appears to be about 50 feet beyond the drive thru entrance, and probably only known about by locals. Never seen anything like this! I guess they are so slow in filling orders, they had to keep moving the order location further away so they could process them. If you are not feeling very hungry, I would strongly suggest ordering on the app, preferably a day before actually wanting the order! The worst service I have ever seen, and that is saying something when you are talking about...
