Petinos La Prairie — Restaurant in La Prairie

I have had breakfast here about 4 times now. Today I went for the first time with my husband. The portions are huge and very tasty. Service was fast and bilingual which we appreciated. The menu has a great variety. Sadly today we witnessed a customer giving the owner a hard time (we think the owner - an older bald gentleman). Customer was complaining about wanting his very large baby stroller beside him at a table where it would have compromised the flow for the wait staff and block patrons from moving around. We heard the owner offer a few other suggestions that we felt were really reasonable where the stroller could be right beside their table. We saw the owner handle it with professionalism and we were sad to see that the customer left unhappy and complaining. We were thoroughly impressed with the experience at Petinos La Prairie location. The brunch menu is well-priced and offers a variety of options to suit different tastes. Additionally, they have a dedicated healthy food options menu, which is a great touch for those looking to maintain a balanced diet.

We got the buckwheat crêpes served with poached egg and cottage cheese which provided a tangy and creamy contrast, pairing well with both the crêpes and the fresh fruits. The other one was eggs with two meats had good portions for the brunch meal consisting of scrambled eggs, sausages, ham, potato wedges.

On weekends, one might encounter a line up due to peak times, however despited that, we found the wait time minimal and got our spot quickly, thanks to the restaurant's spacious layout and excellent customer service.

I went this morning for breakfast with my friend, I arrived before my friend and waited for 10 to 15 minutes in line for my turn to be seated. When my turn came, the waiter invited me in, I asked for a banquette so, she showed me the next available table and told me to wait until they clean it up. I waited for couple of more minutes, when it was ready, the waitress changed her mind and served the people after me in line and told me when your friend arrives I will seat you. I waited quietly then, she seated the others behind me in line. So, I told her I am here and I will order, my friend is 3 minutes away. She answered carelessly it's her boss that told her to do so. I left quietly... I am wondering if this was a bad service and it stops here? or racism as I am clearly a...
