Knowlton Pub Inc — Restaurant in Lac-Brome

Hi, There is a large terrace on the outside It looks cool and causy. The interior dining dates and needs a refresh, dimmed lighting. The atmosphere is not there. The personnel was polite and great with attention to details. The food was on the low side. Fries and burger were barely warm Just shy of being cold. The poutine was not better with barely enough sauce to cover the top, and cold to the point of the cheese not even melting. The bear was flat, like it was left of the counter for 4 hours

The taste of the food was ok The place has potential, and since it is on theain street, I saw it was full packed all summer. So I will tend to say I got a bad evening, yet it wasn't a busy day.

A few weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon me and I few family members went to the Knowlton pub for lunch. I got a hamburger that was undercooked and tasted bad. Like the meat was bad it made me very ill and still to this day I cannot eat meat. I debated whether or not to write this review because I figured maybe it was just me, being fussy and overthinking it, but a few people who I have spoken to also have had the same experience. Just hosted an event for a large group of people at the Knowlton Pub. Could not have had a better experience!! The terrace was set up as requested; service was fast and friendly thanks to Julie and Emily, and the food was delicious! Prices were reasonable for these post-pandemic days. Worked with Paula on advance planning and she could not have been more professional and willing to make everything perfect! I highly recommend this venue not only for special events but for a great meal anytime! I'll be back...
