Raffields — Restaurant in Lac-Brome

Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience, which I believe was due to a misunderstanding. The staff was kind, always smiling, and clearly very busy. We were given two delicious cookies as a gesture, but our mood had already been spoiled after waiting almost an hour and even after trying to reconfirm our order multiple times. Due to this experience, I have to lower my rating, but I am sure it was just a one-time issue and that it will be addressed to prevent it from happening to others.

A place well deserving of its near 5 score. Sandwiches appear deceptively small in appearance but are garnished with loads of housemade goodies like bacon jelly for the grill cheese that delight the palate. Smoked meat sandwich also gets the balance of sweet Dijon mustard right.

Once done so grab some cannelés made on site. We ended up emptying the whole counter of those.

Owner is as bright and warm as the best of sunny days and plans to get some kids chair eventually but no booster seats can be found...

Raffields is a delightful gem and absolute surprise. We were scrambling to find SOMEPLACE open for breakfast on a cold and rainy Monday at the end of October. Did we ever luck out! Imagine mouthwatering crepes and really satisfying coffee. And the restaurant itself was so relaxing - lots of light, wooden floors and tables, lots of space between the tables and such colourful and tasteful decor. They have obviously paid great care to all the details. A real find. Sorry we weren’t around at lunch to try the...
