Ordered for pre-paid pickup, got there, checked in via the app and waited in the pickup car spot as directed. I was still sitting there 10 minutes later because nobody came out. Went into restaurant and they didn't even have it ready, didn't even seen to know what I was talking about. As this order has been placed near breakfast/lunch cutoff time, that was pretty significant. They did, eventually follow through (after much back and forth debate on whether they would honour the breakfast order now that, thanks to these issues, it had fully switched to the lunch menu) on getting me breakfast. But after all that, the sausage & egg mcmuffin was so strangely gross that I couldn't even eat it, and the coffee was no better. The only saving grace was that the hashbrowns (the only reason I actually cared that they honoured the morning breakfast menu rather than the all-day breakfast menu) were actually worth the trip. Still, you can only go so wrong following McD's very consistent and formulaic food content and prep system, so how they managed to bungle the McMuffin so badly is a mystery (A shrug and the observation that one McMuffin isn't as tasty or fresh as another isn't all that strange but having the difference make the McMuffin inedible, that's pretty rare). As for the coffee, I walked out of McD's still very much in need of my morning caffeine and was about to ask a passerby if there was a Starbuck's or something nearby, when I saw a splash of that telltale green across the parking lot and knew, that thought I didn't get a good breakfast, I'd at least be able to console myself with a Caramel Macchiato, which I did. Very disappointed with this McDonald's. From the service to the food they were very subpar - at least that day. I can't speak to wether that location is always that bad, but I won't be stopping at that particular McDonald's anytime soon...
Read moreI don't normally write reviews for somewhere like McDonald's, but I've experienced something unique at this particular location.
On two occasions, I've submitted my order via the mobile app, where it asks if you want to pay 25 cents extra for a bag. Since I was dining in, I said no (on a side note, I'm not sure why it even asks in this scenario). When my order was ready, they handed me the burger box, fry box, and drink cup with some napkins. Not on a tray, just handed over a stack of the items. I've done the same process at other locations and have always gotten my order on a tray. I was able to spread out some napkins on the uncleaned table to prevent my food from touching it, but it's extremely unusual to not give dine-in customers a tray, especially when there's a stack of them right there behind the counter. I have to assume that the staff simply doesn't want to have to clean the trays, so they don't give them out.
Also, while the fries were warm, they had a bit of a stale texture like they had been sitting around for a long time. Given that this was noon and they were fairly busy, there should have been plenty of turnover on the fries, so it's like they made a ton earlier and saved them for later.
Nobody has high expectations for a McDonald's location, but this one seems to go out of their way to degrade...
Read moreI've had many issues with this McDonald's, I've noticed their pop tastes of mildew 🤢 especially the lighter tasting ones like Sprite. One time the shake machine was broken and they asked if I'd like something else like a smoothie, I decided on a smoothie. After about 2-3 mins the guy repairing the machine fixed it, it took another 5 mins for my order to be made and they forgot the smoothie and took another min to make. Another time I came in late at night and tried to order food with three other people and three was a large line up of cars behind us, they told us they couldn't make any food and could only offer pop at the moment. The most recent time we were in a long slow moving line up, a friend ordered a combo and asked specifically for a hashbrowns instead of fries and when we got to the window we asked to make sure it was a hashbrown, the cashier guaranteed it and we checked after and found fries and no hashbrown, we would of turned back but the line was going so painfully slow that we decided not to.i would give 2 stars because not all of my experiences are bad but I kept it at one because most of them are, I go at different times of the day and night and regardless of what time and how busy I have a problem...
