McDonald's — Restaurant in Lake Country

Unprofessional and slow Arrived today at the drive thru and saw 4 vehicles from the order board back. This was at 5:55 pm and since I wasn't in a huge hurry, I pulled in. So counting me, there were 5 vehicles from the order board waiting. 15 minutes passed and one car had managed to place an order and move forward. That was after 5 minutes of my wait. Will no movement, I pulled out of the lineup and walked into the restaurant. Inside were maybe 6 people, including kids and I could see 4 staff. I asked if they were having problems with the drive thru and was told they were really busy. I told the cashier that I had been waiting for over 10 minutes since the last car moved and she repeated that they were busy. When I asked how long I would have to wait if I placed an order at the counter, she said "I don't know." Seriously? 5 vehicles in the drive thru and 6 people inside and that was really busy? I know people who managed a McDonalds and this is not the service they are supposed to give. This kind of service would get people fired and most locations. Especially the manager on duty. Does the franchise owner condone this? Do...

Didn’t have very high expectations as I was heading to McDonalds but this location is probably the slowest “fast” food I’ve ever been to.

There was only two vehicles in front of me. Each car waited an eternity at each window. I ordered a burger and fries nothing else. The ordering screen confirmed they had input my order correctly. I paid at the first window and headed to the second in preparation of my guilty treat to myself.

I was greeted at the second window with an ice cream cone. I explained that wasn’t my oder and then the employee took 5 guesses to figure out my order even though i was 1 of only 3 cars. She asked me to park at the front.

I waited out front for so long I could have driven to McDonalds in Kelowna or Vernon and would have had my food faster. I could have driven to sparkling hill and ate a 5 course meal and it would have been faster.

When i finally got my burger there was more ketchup, onions and lettuce on top of the bun than there was inside!

In short: Don’t stop here go to Kelowna or Vernon. If you must eat fast food in Lake Country...

This location is horrible. Drive thru is always a long wait. You order 1 combo meal and they ask you to go park in reserved parking for 10 to 15 mins. You then open your bag and find out the order is wrong. 9 times out of 10 this happens. I also ordered a item that they were out of, instead of letting me know they didnt have any, they took the liberty of replacing what I ordered with what they wanted to give me. After waiting in the parking lot for 15 mins, I get this and go inside to talk to the cashier and ask for what I ordered. I was then told they had none left but the item they gave me was worth the same amount. I said I didnt care about the amount, if you had said you didnt have any I wouldn't have ordered anything. She then said deal with it, in which i asked to speak with the manager. SUPRISE! She was the manager! Ling story short.
