Starbucks — Restaurant in Lake Country

After yesterday I won't be back to this Starbucks. We always put in a mobile order here when we're driving from Vernon to Kelowna. There is usually a bit of a wait because this store is so busy, we expect a small wait. Yesterday morning I put in my mobile order and my expected pick up time was 10:34. We arrived around 10:28 and began to wait for our order to come up. At around 10:50 our drinks came up and I expected our sandwiches would be up shortly. At this point the store was packed, and there were a lot of people getting frustrated. As more time went by I was getting aggravated, but was unable to grab the attention of any barista. At 11:05 I got in the order like because that was the only way I would have been able to talk to someone. When I got to the front of the line I told the barista I'd been waiting 30 minutes for the food from my mobile order. She looked at me like a deer in headlights and says "that's strange, it should have come up" I told her it had not and she said "okay, I'll just make it". 15 minutes later I finally got the rest of my order, and no apology. There is no reason it should take over 45 minutes to get my order, especially when I ordered ahead. I'm trying to find out how to get my money back for this. From now on I'm going to wait until I get into Kelowna to get my coffee...

I was really happy to see a Starbucks opening in my neighbourhood. I just wish they were like all the other Starbucks I have been to. For the third time I went to buy a pound of decaf coffee, only to be told I could only have 1/2 pound as they didn't have enough. Today they said they only had 1/2 pound for themselves and could not sell it to me. Last week in the drive thru I ordered a bagel toasted with cream cheese. The cream cheese was in a seperate package and I was to put it on myself. Are you kidding? I need to pull over to the side of the road and put my cream cheese on myself?? Obviously, they need someone to ensure they have ample coffee beans if they want to stay in business... And if they are selling bagels hire someone with food safe to apply a little bit of cream cheese for the drive...

Normally I never leave reviews for "fast food" per se, but I had the most wonderful experience this morning in the drive through!!! The young gentleman that took my order was SO wonderful, I'm a naturally chatty person so we had such a nice and short conversation while I was ordering, and then when I got to the window the older lady (I am SO sorry I never got your guys' names!) was literally the sweetest person I've ever met in my life!!!!! If anyone reads this and knows who they are please give them a huge hug and a thank you for me!!! I ordered a grande oat apple crisp macchiato (not iced because it's freezing hahahaha) and a breakfast wrap! Thanks to those two for being such a wonderful start to...
