Re: Service & Food I just received two of the worst pizzas I have ever ordered. I frequent this location since it's the closest pizza place to my home, as do my 3 roommates. Every time I order, I have to cut the pizza properly at home. Not a big deal. THIS TIME: My pizza was sitting in a pool of grease. I got a pepperoni as usual (expected some grease), but this time it was beyond gross. Only 2 pieces were cut, the slices drooped and crumbled in my hand, and all the toppings started to slide off. Extremely undercooked, super wet and soggy. All other pieces stuck together. My boyfriend said "not going to lie, that is an extremely unappetizing pizza...."
I called and they were willing to remake it, and I was thankful. Picked up new pizza, and the exact same thing happened. Now 7 of 8 pieces are stuck together, when you rip them apart all the toppings come off. Insanely greasy, even after washing my hands they still feel greasy.
They mentioned they had a new guy, and I get it, we all need to train. However, wouldn't you want to watch the new guy do a remake to ensure it's done correctly? I also was taken back by the fact that the manager and the person at the register wouldn't let me finish talking. I wanted to show them what was wrong and they just closed the box, cut me off, and said sorry, here is a free dip. LOL Even while on the phone I was trying to explain the issue and she kept talking over me.
If I could pick 1 word to describe both pizzas, it would be "slop."
To solve any future issues, we'll just order from somewhere else. We loved living close to a Red Swan. It was nice while it lasted, I truly hope they get some better staff...

When I called to ask if they have halal chicken, the lady over the phone said âyes, the donair chicken is halalâ. So we placed an order for a large pizza with the donair chicken. When I arrived 15 minutes later, they said to wait another 10 minutes since they just placed the pizza in the oven. I then asked for the halal certification, to which she said they donât have the certification but to trust her word that it was halal. I told her that any location that serves any sort of halal chicken has to have the certification. I canât take anybodyâs word as that automatically loses the storeâs credibility. She then called the owner to which they said that although they have halal donair chicken, they donât have the certification in the store.
Serving anything âhalalâ is not a joke. Have your certification ready if you want your store to be a credible halal location.
EDIT: This is my response to the owner. No employee showed me the halal Donair package. She just told me that the package has a halal label. Please donât spread misinformation. Regardless itâs not the customers job to tell the staff how to do their job. It is owners/staffs responsibility to display or show the halal certification. This issue isnât resolved until you guys display the halal...
Read moreDefinitely my favorite pizza place by far! I've ordered from red swan, and this place in particular, many times before, and always had a consistently good experience. I highly recommend trying the Taco Pizza, I've not been able to find anything like it (or as good as it!) anywhere else, and it's always a treat to have. Always good and fast service, and they follow special instructions really well if ever I have any.
They even wrote a fun joke on the inside of the pizza box after I ordered today, which is super nice of them and got a good laugh out of me and my bf đ I'll share a picture of the pizza I got with the fun joke on the box here, I got a beef taco, and also ordered an all meat pizza for my partner.
Love the pizza, and have never had any problems ordering before, plus it's always fast and good service, so a definite 5...
