Maybe we came in on an off day. Tables were sticky, floors were dirty. STAFF was attentive and really nice. Food was ok. My scrambled eggs were a little under. Breakfast potatoes are good. Our daughter found a HAIR IN THE SOUP! Gross!!! Hair is definitely a DO NOT RETURN thing for me. They took it off the bill (the thing to do) but still charged us for the $1 cheese that went into the soup?... my kid ate soup that had HAIR in it. Taking it off the bill was NOT enough. THAT’s A MAJOR HEALTH VIOLATION!!!
As for your “reply” of our review...we are NOT bashing your business. Not every review is going to be a happy one. Get over it! The waitress said it “might be”from the broccoli...as a vegetarian, I cook broccoli often. It was NOT broccoli. As for the table...I WIPED MY OWN TABLE DOWN with the napkin and water on the table!! And the floors WERE dirty under neath the tables. I know what rushes at restaurants look like (15+ years in the food services industry/and having a background in sanitary inspections) but seats and tables MUST be cleaned for next customer, no matter the “rush.” As for the the $1...give it to your busbuy...it may motivate him to better clean down tables and seats. A customer should never have to wipe down crumbs from seats. You saw me doing it and proceeded to do so as well.
I AM NOT BASHING your establishment. I’m simply giving your OUR experience. As a business owner you must be willing to improve these “bashing” reviews. Insensitivity to a PAYING customer’s review only proves your inability to accept...
Read moreHoly moly!! I'm currently visiting Quebec from Vancouver, and this morning I was looking for a decent breakfast place to visit. This place definitely took me by surprise. First off, the staff was PHENOMENAL. The woman who greeted us was such a sweetheart, and our waiter was legendary. The best waiter/server I've ever had. His name is Jerry!! He was so enthusiastic & full of character, you could tell he definitely loved his job. He checked on us constantly, our cups were never empty, and he was always sharing a joke or making us smile. I loved him. Next up, the FOOOOOD!!!!! I can't even begin to explain how AMAZING their food is. I ordered the coco et co special. It comes with eggs, fruit, potatoes (with hollandaise sauce), your choice of waffle/crepe/pancake/etc with a topping of your choice. I've attached a picture of my crepe that I got as a SIDE with my special. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a picture of the whole meal (I started eating too quickly). If you're in the area, you MUST visit Coco Et Co. I wish I could come here every weekend!! Thank you thank you thank you for not only a great breakfast, but for a great experience all around! I will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know. Phenomenal, I wish they had a location in Vancouver. If you ever do open one up, please...
Read moreWorst breakfast experience ever. We were 5 people having breakfast on a Saturday morning and in total, we stayed there for an hour and a half. We enjoyed the service and the food was ok, but the unexpected happened once we decided to pay early. We tend to always pay early as a group so that we can sit and enjoy each other’s company and converse among friends. To our surprise, we were asked when we were leaving and they pressed upon us in many forms as wells with many hints that the needed us to leave, because they needed our table. Frustrated and insulted, we left and as we exited, I spoke to the manager expressing how we felt and how it was not right the way that they made us feel as clients, but the manager proceeded to tell us that there were other clients waiting and they needed the table. At that moment, we all felt like we did not even matter and we were just a number and a source of profit for the manager. First and last time going there. No, thank you. I will choose to take my business elsewhere. After all, anyone can make eggs and potatoes. Not many ways to screw that up. The service is the deciding factor when it comes to breakfast places. To all future customers, keep in mind that you...
