I placed an order through their website at 12:03 PM, with an expected delivery window between 12:27 PM and 12:57 PM. When nothing arrived, I called the restaurant at 1:10 PM and was told the driver had just left with my order about 10 minutes earlier.
By 1:38 PM, I still hadn’t received anything, so I called again—only to be told that they never even saw my online order on their system, and that my food hadn’t been prepared at all. The person I spoke with didn’t apologize (all my calls are recorded), was borderline rude, and simply offered a refund, saying it was “the best I can do.” That’s unacceptable. Get your act together. I won’t be ordering again—I have zero confidence my food would ever show up.
Update: I’m beyond disappointed. At 1:50 PM, I get a call from the driver saying he’s finally on his way. I informed him that the owner had already canceled the order and issued a refund. I called the restaurant again and was told, “Well, I changed my mind—you get your money and your food.” Really? That’s something you might want to communicate clearly. I had already placed a second order with another restaurant. Now perfectly good food is going to waste because I told the driver to throw it out. This is just pure chaos. Read moreWhile I never expected to drop a bad review of a restaurant that has been my absolute favorite for over twenty years, after ordering here recently I am absolutely disgusted by my last experience. I ordered Uber… who refuses to do anything about it obviously. I ordered a marathon salad and as it waited for its turn to be eaten I could see the bottom was filed out with dressing. Knowing how thick it usually I was surprised to see dressing covering every single piece of everything, as well as half a salad. I gave it the benefit of the doubt, three in a couple of fries and shook th e container only to open it to this insane soup. It was inedible. 25$ in the garbage. The cucumber was limp… The only edible part were the olives and tomatoes but with unflavoured colored water for dressing in the garbage they went as well. Next time will have to wait until I am within their real delivery range so I can order from them directly. But honestly they’re finally opening Greek places in my area and I guess I’ll have to start considering trying new places after 20+...

I call restaurant and explain their mistake....I was told sorry they cant do anything for it. They stated to me we read the note but we did nothing about it.... I say why did u not call ...u obviously make it mandatory to have my number on the online order. Again...no consideration into the clients wrong order from the store. I ask for a refund of that order (the rest was good)... I am told sorry we cant. Back and forth on the phone.....zero client skills and client service. Finally after 10 minutes of their wrongdoing they say we gonna send u the correct item!!! Was a regular client......loyal...happy and all.. But this one was the end of the line.....no more this place nor their restaurant for me. Done were the good days.....and good food and good service.....whomever is there now is not at its place..total downfall of this establishment. ...will be going to other souvlaki places and not marathons!!
