Terrible! This is probably the WORST sports bar that I have ever been to. The food was just terrible! To me, a sports bar should have great bar food. I stopped in here on a Thursday evening and the place was empty. That should have been a red flag to me. I sat at the bar, ordered a cold beer, a dozen buffalo wings ($21), and french fries ($6). One problem...they do NOT serve buffalo wings! No really! They don't! They offer wings with hot sauce served on the side. When asked if they can serve the wings tossed with the hot sauce, the bartender told me no. When the wings came out they were TINY. Seriously...tiny! They were like skin and bone with no chicken meat on the bones. I thought it was a joke. I ate two and dipped them in the sauce they served. Just terrible. I waited about 10 minutes to get the attention of the bartender (he was busy chatting at the end of the bar with a co-worker) and asked if I could get something else. He went and spoke to an older gray-haired man at the other end of the bar and came back. He asked what else I might want and I opted for a simple cheeseburger. Ten minutes later I got a hockey puck served on a burger bun with cheese that was not melted. Once again...is this a joke? The bun completely fell apart as I attempted to eat the burger. It was way overcooked and hard with no flavor. The french fries served were the frozen kind and had absolutely no seasoning. This place was empty and the gray-haired manager never came over to ask how the burger was or to apologize for the wings. He was too busy talking to a friend. I closed out my bill completely dissatisfied. I hate wasting money on a terrible meal. On my way out I attempted to speak to the manager briefly about my awful meal. He was very combative, hostile, and defensive. He claimed that they do a huge volume of business and that they never get complaints about their food. I politely pointed out that his entire restaurant was empty on a Thursday night during the NHL playoffs. If their food was so great...why would this place be empty??? On another note, the televisions above the bar are old and need to be replaced. For a sports bar, your tv's should not have dark spots and shadows on the screens from age. I seldom write reviews, but I thought my experience was worthy of a review so others don't waste their hard-earned money on a terrible meal. Maybe, just maybe, someone at this restaurant might recognize that they have a problem in the kitchen. My lesson...when a restaurant is empty on what should be a busy night...it should be a red flag that they have bad food and...
Read moreWent here with friends to watch the 1st playoff game of the Habs vs Ottawa 2015.
The only good thing I could say about this place is the ambiance for the playoffs. People are cheering the team, screaming when there's a goal and everyone celebrates together. But besides that, there's lots of work to be done.
The first thing to point out is the inexperienced staff, waiters as much as the kitchen staff. It took 22 minutes to get a glass of water after asking 3 times every 8 minutes or so. The game didn't start yet + it was 6:00pm and the place was half full. No reason to wait that much.
The 2nd thing is the quality of the food and especially the price. I ordered the ribs and chicken breast combo and had to send it back twice. First time because it was just plain cold (felt like a re-heat in the micro wave covered up with sauce) and the second time the ribs were just undercooked (RAW) chewy and basically disgusting.
The waiter didn't offer any side dishes, desserts or coffee, she just brought us our bills assuming we were done.
Definitely not coming back to this place, I don't recommend it.
** They also have a terrace outside, however this restaurant is located nearby a garbage disposal factory, so it smells...
Read moreSecond time going there and I thought it might have been a fluke or just an one off experience, but no. This place is horrible. The burgers aren’t that good either. The first time I went was a 2 months ago to watch a Formula 1 race in the morning. They didn’t want to play the audio of the TV program because they were playing “Pop music”. This makes absolutely no sense for a sports bar to do this. Forward to last night, I go back to maybe having a different and better experience and also the start of the NBA season. The waitress was nice and helpful. The hours posted states they close at 1am. There were 2 big basketball games going on back to back. The 2nd game which was the biggest game of the season. During the 3rd quarter the manager decided to he want lock up earlier without letting the rest of the customers know, he turns down the TVs and then 10mins later he turns them off. It’s 12:20am and once again they close at 1am. The manager left the waitress to deal with the upset customers. I will not go back to this establishment. It’s a sport bar that doesn’t...
