Very bad experience...This is the main reason why I avoid going to the cashier when I buy at McDonald's. McDonald's has an app issue today (December 13, 2019) and I called their customer service Department twice today about the Free Medium French Fries that is suppose to end tonight at 11:59 pm and I was told by the agent to call McDonald's and see if they could accommodate me. First, you don't call at a fastfood restaurant because they definitely do not have a phone in the kitchen or the cash register area... 🤨 But anyways, I wanted that free French Fries for lunch, so I though I could let them know and hopefully have it, eventhough the coupon had suddenly disappeared because of McDonald's technical issues with their app. After the cashier confirmed that they DID still had the Free French Fries promotion, I explained that my unused coupon had disappeared on the app and your customer service department had confirm that there were issues with the app. I had barely gotten the time to finish my sentence that next thing you know, she was yelling for the supervisor (petite young black girl) and had her come over. I tried repeating that exact same sentence and she too cut me off and said "I can't do anything".... that's a LIE, you CAN, but YOU don't want to do anything... I have worked in a fastfood chain and it is basic customer service, and I would have done it (not going to hurt, physically, mentally or financially, anyone).... Yes, there might be people trying to get free food but you have to give them the benefit of the doubt... especially when you have never seen my face ordering with a cashier (ALWAYS using the self serve machines) and I barely go at McDonald's in general... All of that to say, that their customer service skills were nonexistent, very rude and careless (both of them, the black supervisor and the white ishh (not sure if she's white) cashier) When you are broke AF and having a somewhat complete meal at a fastfood restaurant is all you can afford.. it would be nice that people would have a little humanity and heart and manage to provide that "free" item...like COME ON!! Read moreMcDonald's is what it is. But since the COVID pandemic, the company has problems recruiting personnel and keeping them. It has had an undeniable effect on service. A MAJOR, AND I DO MEAN MAJOR problem with many places visited is that they have people that cannot speak or understand French. This is a big concern here in Québec. Even assistant managers do not speak French. A lot more respect for our province's laws would be NECESSARY. but as everything is about money at McDonald's, the government is going to have to intervene. Also, their order screens, are a nest for viruses and bacteria. No wonder hospitals across the country are full of sick people. Now not to exaggerate, they are not the only responsible people, but those screens sure send a wedding message. I used to bring family, now I don't anymore. Their microphones and speaker systems at the ordering stations are not proper devices, you can argue that they serve thousands and millions of customers every day. I would suggest they do an investigation to see how well they are used, by both the employees and the customers. Practically everytime I have used them, either I don't understand what is being said, offer the employees do not understand. Now as far as the employees are concerned, it is not all their fault. I suggest you stand and wait for your order inside, you will want to get out of there and soon as possible. There is so much noise in there with all the bells and whistles, I really wonder how they can make their shifts without going crazy. But the guy at the top does not care, all he wants is to go...

No one went there- I know I started to avoid it. Then some one had the smart idea of moving it to a street corner - BaddaBing - total transformation - one of the best McDonald's in the Laval Montreal area.
Mind you they do have staff issues but all in all - I just love it. Breakfasts get most of my cash - but when my cash wanted some fries and a chocolate shake - it was money well spent.
I would have voted this place as most improved business.
