Ok well this one’s a disappointment.. when they just opened they were amazing! Lots of onions/ lettuce/ tomatoes- nice I always order the same thing - tandoori sandwiches. As time passed - well they dropped their standards out the door.
Besides taking super long for order ( waiting time from start to finish is 20mins minimum) I again ordered the same sandwich- when I got home, it was only 1 slice tomato , tiny piece of lettuce & 1 tiny piece of onion. Clearly my order was rushed. Since then I saw the standard DROP. Wait… it get worse… so after a while I sent my husband to order for me the same thing, ( giving them another chance to redeem themselves) but after he placed the order, he saw the guy (who prepares the food) was sitting at a table & on his phone.. he gets up , start to prepare the meal with his bare hands WITHOUT washing his hands AFTER touching his I’m sure bacteria germ infested phone. You would think that after 3 years of this COVID ppl are more - sanitary & conscientious- but alas no..these kids they hire have no regard for cleanliness nor the responsibility of Hygiene & handling FOOD. Ofc my husband saw that and left them right then & there & walked out- went to Boustan across the street instead. Such a shame, the menu has potential but lazy employees can really ruin a place… You would think the owners would keep tabs on the sanitary situation that goes on with employees with cameras around when they are not there.. but in the end - sad to say they don’t really care nor have done their due diligence as management. Lesson learnt- not going back ever & will advise any customer to keep an eye on the kid preparing the meal & you’ll see what I’m saying .. dirty hands...
Read moreWas on my to subway, got a flyer on my car at cité de la santé and decided to try it. It turns out it was not a good decision. Very poor customer service. The flyer shows one thing the restaurant gives you a lot less in portions. When I asked the guy in the kitchen, he shrugged his shoulder and left. When I asked the cashier, he was talking about old and new menus. The cashier was more concerned about the fact that I disrespected him!?! Seriously!? Which was really not the case. Just take a look at their advertising and what I got. When I complained to their head office. I asked for my money back and they responded by inviting me to a bbq. which I will not go to. First and last time visiting this restaurant. Not to forget that the cashier asked me if it was my first time. Seeing something on their menu and flyer doesn’t require someone to have visited their restaurant often to be able to order or to understand their menu. Very disappointed in their customer service,...
Read moreAfter noticing a pricing flaw on their overhead menu board, I asked the cash guy whether the "back to school" specials were a large sandwich or a small. He confirmed it was a small. I then pointed out that the same sandwich on the "regular" menu was 2$ less (Thursday: Doner)... Why, if they are the same size? At this time, he scrambled his way over to my side of the counter to inspect the menu, then told me it was for a large sandwich. I reiterated that I specifically asked originally if the sandwich was small or large... He had nothing great to say for it. All the while, some manager looking dude just kept peering at us from over his laptop, not offering any explanation. When I held eye contact with him, he gave me a sheepish "ahhh you got me" smile - but still offered ZERO HELP!
Cherry on top: the sandwich in question does not appear to even exist in the large sandwich options.
I guess we regular folk must work hard for our money while some people work less for more...
