Thai Express Restaurant Laval — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

I have to start by saying I wasn’t going to write this review until the owner started trying to guilt trip me even when I was being very nice especially considering the situation.

I am already getting over a cold and my boyfriend wanted to cheer me up so we went to get some soup and general Tao for lunch. As I start eating my soup I noticed a fly in my soup so I take it out and was a bit disgusted but wasn’t gonna cause an issue over it so I continue to eat it until I find 3 more flies. I wait until all the other customers leave the restaurant so I don’t make him lose business and then I show the woman working the flies which she then calls out for the guy who made our food (the manager) Here is when things turn for the worst and I am so shocked at the customer service.

The guy looks at the flies and tells me what do you want me to do about it. I told him I would like a refund and that I no longer want the soup. And he goes on to tell me that it’s extra protein why don’t I just eat it. I told him because I’m unappetized and don’t want to eat flies. He then continues to tell me why am I doing this to him, why do I take his food and eat it and take back my money. He reluctantly gives me my money back and as I walk away I can still hear him mumbling stuff. I was so uncomfortable that I will no longer step foot in that...

If i could give 0 star i would,on Saturday march 15 i walked in around 20:45 i ordered big tom yums soup and fried rice cost me $40 plus I left 5$ dollars tip by the time the food was ready it was around 20:50 five minutes later the young fella at the cashier told me, sir we're closing in five minutes,so I looked at him and start laughing. I said so what do you want me to leave? He's like yes you have 5mn to finish your food im like are you serious? he's like yes,I'm like why you didn't tell me that when I ordered my food . I couldn't believe my ears I'm under shock that I was chased after spending $45 at the restaurant just to eat for five minutes never again I've been a customer for the past 13 years. I would never go back to any Thai express in my life,already that the franchise is going downhill so I thought by keep going to Thai express I'm gonna encouraging them, but they don't deserve it. I hope that the owner will see my message and he can go back and check the videos of his stores because nowadays the employees don't care I'm really...
