It’s nice that the store got a new revamp looks good, but it’s not the look of the store that was the problem. It’s unfortunate ,with such a great location that this store cannot maintain the food quality. Paid for a double big mac and im missing half the sandwich. Food is not cheap,Very Disappointing. —— UPDATE Extremely disappointed with my visit today (3 Feb 2023) I placed a mobile order at 8:17am… I arrived at this restaurant (Curé-Labelle & Notre-Dame) for a drive-thru pickup that was charged to my card at 8:29am. The woman at the window handed me my 2 coffees and told me to park on the side and wait because my order wasn’t ready. After 20 minutes waiting (watching other cars behind me get their orders), a young man brings 3 bags to my car... unfortunately none of them were my order. At this point I am very frustrated because I have a 6 month old in the car with me on the coldest day of the year and now I need to go inside after waiting 30min for a simple breakfast meal. So I parked my car and went inside. Once inside the issue was obvious to me… I saw the floor manager just standing around doing nothing to help the staff and ignoring the other customers waiting. As I approached her to tell her my issue, she immediately dismissed me and went to get the young lady behind the counter who is expediting the orders. This young lady was very apologetic, in tears and placed my order again… Now I’m waiting inside for my order (45min after arriving at the restaurant), there are more drive-thru customers coming inside now and the manager in the pin stripe shirt just stood there on the floor watching. I don’t understand how a manager can stand their watching her staff fail, disrespectful to customers, criticizing them and not even working at the cash or helping the kitchen staff with the orders. This was a horrible experience that I will never forget and has traumatized me as I am still in shock. I strongly recommend a review of this restaurant’s management. Regardless this will not be my problem in the future as I will NOT be returning here and will tell everyone I know to avoid this restaurant… I will drive further to go to another restaurant as it will still be faster in the end. Read moreI have been eating at this McDonalds drive through DAILY for the past month, because I work nearby, so you can trust my review as not being a single frustrating experience. It is my conclusion after repetitive experiences.
There is always something going wrong… let me tell you my observations:
Price have doubled up, we’re getting used to it, right? But what I can’t get used to is how annoyingly STINGY they have become at the same time. You get HALF of what you pay for the majority of time. Drink is half filled with ICE, and for a small drink that is frustrating, when you want to drink, cup 70% heavy and Surprise! no more drink, only ice. Ice should be used a few cubes enough to cool the drink, not 50-70% of the cup to give less drink to the customer! Their hamburgers (McDouble for example) come with HALF the supposed condiments, barely any onions, barely 1 pickle sometimes 2 if you’re lucky, barely any ketchup, you get the point. It’s unacceptable to have to be lucky to have a fully flavoured hamburger. It happened too many times that it tasted bland because there was barely anything in it other than the patty and a very thin slice of cheese. Oh and during the month I ate here daily, their McFlurry machine was “broken” more than a week. And finally, when it got repaired, I was excited to enjoy a classic size McFlurry….and guess what : surprise, they filled it less than half. There was even less in there than the smallest McFlurry format. Luckily they accepted to fill it up, but we shouldn’t have to beg for them to give us what we paid for in the first place. There is a trend going on with giving smaller quantity than what you pay for… Another scam : Medium Fries. Let’s talk about it. You pay about 5$ after tax for medium fries, but the size is almost identical to small fries. Heck they also fill up half and I’ve had more fries ordering small fries than medium. So either get Small or Large fries because they seriously need to review their medium format. And also, happened a few times that I got fries with absolutely no salt on them.

Read moreThis McDonald's has been here since I was a kid. I watched it go from excellent service and good food to the crappiest service ever and no care to even improve. It's the closest McDonald's to my house but I think I will have to go further out to find a better location. The ice cream machine is always broken, they fill up the drinks in the drive thru halfway, and today I had an experience where I just had enough of it.
I went to buy McDonald's after a while since today is McHappy Day and I like the cause. So I purchased 6 junior chickens, fries and chicken nuggets in the drive thru. I get my bag and drive off since I'm in a hurry. Once I get home I see that they only gave me 2 sandwiches instead of 4, do I get back in my car and decide to call them on the way there. Note that they also forgot to put the receipt in the bag. Anyways the manager was kind and understanding (thank you Mary) and she said she'd get my sandwiches and compensate me for my extra trip.
I get there, I ask for her, the clueless teenage employees take like 10 minutes to find her, and then she makes sure they make me extra sandwiches. I thought of it as really kind, especially since I've never complained and received compensation at this Mc Donald's. So once I get home and I open the free Mc Chicken Sandwiches there's no lettuce in them, an ugly splat of mayo and also not to mention they used two bottom buns to encase them.
