Miss Tacos Birrieria — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

Visited this restaurant after a friend recommended their food, was very excited to share it with my husband and unfortunately everything was lacking. First and foremost, service was terrible, we waited over 15 min for a menu, had to fetch it ourselves and other people who came in after us actually got served before us. Not even water was offered until we ordered and given my husband was upset at their lack of attention and decided not to order, not even a glass of water was offered to him, they brought only one for me. Coming from a Mexican background and the workers being Hispanic too I find it shameful such a lack of attention.

Cute decor. Very dark inside despite it being 6pm. Service was lacking. Our waitress was monotone, didn’t bring us water. Served soft drinks without a glass nor a straw. At the end of our meal, she simply didn’t come back and see us. My husband needed to get up and pay at the cash no one told us anything.

Place was not welcoming at all. Food was not good and I had high hopes for it. It was lacking flavour, consome had a smell to it, my girls who love soup, didn’t eat it. Even the guacamole was missing salt.

We are foodies and I simply wouldn’t recommend this place. It’s a shame because a taco/Mexican restaurant is needed...

Just recently went here with my friends. Service was disappointing. The waitress kept confusing our meals and placing it in front of the wrong person. She even then blamed us for her misunderstanding. One of our poutines were missing a lot of cheese and fries while the other was had too many of the other. We specifically said no spicy but jalapeños was within our poutine. Near the end we wanted to pay but couldn’t find any server to get our bills. We had to go to the counter & flag someone from the kitchen. We were told it was ok to pay at the counter... It was our first time coming...
