Nice welcoming vibe by the lady that took our order. Good customer service. Now, let's get into the tasting of these donuts.

The order:

Nutella Hazelnut Donut Apple Pie Donut Boston Cream Donut Caramel Donut Strawberry Jam Filled Donut Strawberry Shortcake Donut

To start with, once I took my first bite, it was clear to me that these donuts weren’t freshly made like they’ve stated on their website. They weren’t fluffy or soft but more dense and it tasted like they might’ve been maybe ”leftover" donuts. I don’t know if that was the case but all I know, they were not fresh and we arrived there somewhat early.

The Boston cream was good and had a good amount of filling and the strawberry shortcake donut also good with a good amount of strawberry filling. They weren’t overly sweet and that’s good for me. I rate those two 6/10

If you like Nutella then you’ll like the Nutella hazelnut donut. 6/10

The Strawberry Jam Filled Donut was more like a bread and was lacking of strawberry jam filling. Just as the caramel one and the apple pie one which was my least favourite. I didn’t enjoy the apple filling taste or texture and I usually love apple pies but they missed me with this one.

If you’re going to state on your website that your donuts are freshly made every day then that’s what I’m expecting to get when I’m buying your products.

Overall, I don’t see the hype for these donuts. They’re not bad but...

Really unfortunate, I was hoping this place would save me a drive into town for bernie beigne. But unfortunately, I'm going to have to keep on driving and waiting in line, it seems.

First of all, the price 41$ for a dozen (without the optional gratuity). Their 6 box price point is the same you pay for 12 at bernie.

2nd, the dough was overmixed, and the donut was, unfortunately, tough. I had an oreo topped donut.

I truly wish the owner success, but if it's the rent driving up the price or it's a matter of not moving enough units to drive down that price. The donut itself doesn't doesn't carry the weight for the price being charged, unfortunately.
