If I could give 0 stars I would. We ordered from the restaurant on Mother’s Day, we placed an order for DELIVERY in which the person on the phone took down our home address. After waiting over 1 hour for the food, we called to see what happened and the worker advised that they do not even offer delivery. Very upset and confused about this, we then went to the restaurant to pick up our order. Once we got home, we were missing 2 meals from our order after the worker confirmed the entire order was there. We called back to complain about this and to prepare the meal as we will come back to pick it up. The person tells us the cook went home to sleep. Excuse me? My mother went back to the restaurant to demand her money back, and they refused to do so. After 20 minutes of waiting, the worker proceeds to give my mom the missing meals, and then tells her that they do in fact deliver. This was a complete disaster. Not only was the service terrible, the food was not even worth this terrible service and experience. We found a hair in our meal, and the Tom yum soup was disgusting and not edible. Shame on the restaurant owners for allowing their workers treat...
Read moreI always enjoy coming here. The food here is always good when I come here. This time around, it was for my mom 65th birthday. Kinda funny, this was the last restaurant that me and my family went to right before Covid in February 2020 for my mom 62nd birthday. Service was great and friendly staff. And the price are really reasonable. And their portion size surprisingly good, all at very reasonable prices. I took the “ table d'hôte “ which came with the house soup, a spring rolls and the main course. My soup was quite good. It wasn’t too salty or watered down like many Asians theme restaurant. Next up was my spring rolls. Not quite as good from the last time I went but still good. Another minute in the fryer would have been perfect. And finally the main course I took the General Tao chicken. Still as good from all the times I been. My dad took the stirfried chicken vegetable, while my mom took the spinach chicken in peanut sauce. They both enjoy their meal. If you’re an asian food lover, I definitely recommend coming to this restaurant. I will...
Read moreWent as a group recently and enjoyed our experience overall.
Service - super friendly, helpful, easy going and quick. We definitely felt welcomed and cared for. Shout out to Tony - bro, you’re awesome.
Food - we had the table d’hôte with won ton soup, fried imperial roll, and then 1 peanut chicken with crispy spinach and 1 pad Thai.
Bonus - it’s BOYW
The Won Ton’s are made fresh daily and it showed.
The peanut chicken left much to be desired - the texture of the chicken under the sauce felt a little gooey and fatty. Meanwhile the sauce itself did not hold up to other standards of “peanut sauce” I’ve had in the past. Overall with the mushrooms mixed into the dish, it felt chewy and salty. Wasn’t my fave.
The pad Thai was delish! The flavours all came through nicely and the chicken was grilled nicely as well.
All in all, great pad Thai, excellent service, reasonable prices - a return is...
