This review is based on a true dine in experience. The quality of the food and the service was a huge dissapointment for my family. First of all, what you eat in this restaurant is not a real Turkish food. Here are my comments: i) We ordered 2 doner kebabs. It was tasting like spicy meatballs and having a very strong, bitter aftertaste that really ruined the dish. They should know that raw onion and kofte spice shall not be used in doner ingredients. ii) They never ask your choice about the spice. The kids plate, one of them is a kofte, was full of spicy french fries and hot peppers. iii) The drinks arrived late almost at the end of the meal. I reminded them but they pretend to be listening, definitely not customer focused. iv) They have medium coarse bulgur which is wrong if you make pilaf with it. v) Mixing half cooked rice and bulgur is a really bad idea… vi) The owner and the waitress are not welcoming and having a bad attitude. I was visiting Laval so I went there with two family members last night, the Staff was hardly willing to work or serve, like they were forced to work, and who seems to be the manager or owner was having loud meeting in the restaurant.. But that was not all, when it came to place our orders, we ordered chicken but the waitress came back to inform us that it is not available, we changed it o beef, again the waitresse came back to inform us again that it is not available and infomred what is available, can you imagine tbat we have to eat based on the chef availablity not based on our wishes, that is ironic. Now, time for my order... I ordered what allegedly called Iskendar kebab: the bread was old and looked like it was served before on another table, the fries were cold, and I dont even want to talk about the beef or what was swimming around it. One word to describe this...
