St-Hubert Express — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

Ordered online through the St-Hubert app, for pick up. Received a confirmation email with the EXACT following instructions:

"You can now pick up your order from the comfort of your car in 3 simple steps! When you arrive at the restaurant, park in one of the designated parking spots. Call the number on the sign to let us know you have arrived. Open the trunk, door or window when the employee arrives to get your zero-contact order. PICK UP COUNTER Follow the signage for prepaid orders at the rotisserie and pick up your order right at the pickup counter."

My husband gets there and calls the number as per instructions. Some kid answers : yes -Husband: my order number is..., I'm here for the pick up. -Kid: yes. -Husband: yes what? Yes, you will bring it out? Yes, it's ready? -Kid: I will bring out.

15 minutes later, my husband walks in, and another kid (a girl this time), asks him if he's there to pick up the order. My husband explains he called and have been waiting in the car for 15+ minutes...

Her answer: well, that's a mistake. We don't drop food at your car!

St-Hubert, I know it's impossible to hire any kind of reliable staff these days, but this is kind of crazy.

These kids you are hiring don't seem to be able to talk on the phone using more than one word, and are completely unaware of how your establishment works.

Maybe some training...

I am a regular St-Hubert consumer it is simple, inexpensive and easy to order. Today i tried out the curb side pick up as an option, I had full car of kids and wanted to save time and delivery by doing a pick up. The st hubert app said it would be 15 minutes and gave an exact time. I was at first impressed and eager for the pick up. Unfortunately, the meal wasnt ready and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes park with 3 kids for my meal to be prepared. A young man greeted me which was nice and offered me a piece of cake, i told him I have 3 kids and would not want 1 but if he can spare 3 ad least the kids would be happy.

Unfortunately, i only got one piece and no utensils or wipes which normally come.

I will continue to buy from st hubert but was not thrilled with their curb side pick up option which didnt meet...

I went in on a tuesday to order the specials (kids meal for 5$ and wine half off) and the cashier denied me both. She said I can’t have the kids meal (mind you I went to another st hubert express yesterday and ordered it with no problem) and she denied me the wine because I wanted to take out. I said okay then let me eat inside so I can have the wine and she said no you can’t eat the chicken breast inside (when that’s not even what I wanted to order in the first place). So now I can’t eat inside and I can’t have what I want for take out. The cashier could’ve made it all so simple but no. Very disrespectful attitude as I am a paying customer that wants the promos YOU OFFER. Disappointed to say the least. Will not be returning to...
