Augusto’s Grill — Restaurant in Leamington

My husband and I impulsively decided to try Augusto’s after work tonight for the first time. We arrived around 6:30 pm and a few other tables sat down around the same time as us. We had quite a long wait between each time we saw our (presumably) new server, however she was polite when interacting with us. The owner and other server working were attentive and accommodating. In a kind gesture, the owner sent out complimentary appetizers to all the tables waiting. We were later told there was a miscommunication in the kitchen and they were out of the shrimp to accompany the special we both ordered. The owner came to our table and apologized, and offered other options as replacement. He thanked us for our understanding and later returned to the table to thank us for our patience and offer dessert on the house. In another scenario, we may not have returned; however, the care this man puts into his customers is top notch and that truly made the experience for us. I should also mention, the food had generous portions and was absolutely delicious. Try the expresso crème brûlée, you won’t regret it! Augusto's Grill is a delightful and needed addition to Leamington! My husband and I had an amazing dinner experience here. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, creating a relaxing atmosphere perfect date night. We started with the bruschetta, topped with balsamic glaze, which was a perfect appetizer to kick off our meal. The Caesar salad with prosciutto and homemade croutons was fresh and flavorful, setting the bar high for the main course. For our entrees, I ordered the grilled lamb chops with perfectly cooked veggies and potatoes. Each bite was a testament to their commitment to quality and taste. My husband opted for the rigatoni Bolognese and chicken Marsala, both of which were delicious and satisfying. 1st time visiting Augusto’s, had dinner and drinks with friends and we were all blown away by the quality of the food. Good portions, delicious ingredients and the sauces were scrumptious. The Italian beer on tap was very good too. I started with the PEI muscles served with fire roasted tomato garlic wine sauce - it was the best I’ve ever had. I’m from PEI. The shrimp in my fettuccine dish was so fresh and sweet it could have been lobster and again the pasta sauce was Devine. We all had different menu items and were all very happy. Great service, food delivered hot and finished dishes removed promptly. The building itself is like an old church inside and it’s a bit loud from happy patrons but a great atmosphere.
