Taqueria Ajua — Restaurant in Leamington

A nice AUTHENTIC mexican place with GREAT tacos. I came here for a late breakfast and had 4 tacos; All the tacos have 2 tortillas and freshly diced onions with it.

-Chorizo, my new favorite nicely grilled and so flavorful.

-Suadero, delicious and nicely sized meat cuts.

-Barbacoa, perfectly cooked meat sizes.

-Carne Asada, Juicy and tasty with just the right bite in it.

To top it of I had a Coca-Cola in a can and Horchata, best horchata I had in whole Canada!

Final review: Great place, mexican vibe and style. The food is delicious and not greasy at all, super fresh and goes great with their authentic drinks. Customer Service is lovely and the place is really clean.

Went there for their Taco Tuesday special based on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. Party of 4 and we ordered 3 Chicken, Beef and Steak tacos each and they were awesome, so much so we ordered another 2 each for take out to have later in the evening (total of 20 tacos!!). They were very good and full of flavour and the Mild & Medium sauces were incredible (the hot was too hot for us). We also got the guacamole which was made fresh to order and it amazing and was gobbled up very quickly with the chips provided. Taqueria Ajua is definitely a great spot. The place was full of happy customers, and the atmosphere really felt like I was back in Mexico. Everyone was ordering lots of food, and clearly enjoying themselves — which tells me this is the real deal. The atmosphere felt very authentic, and I honestly felt like I was transported to Mexico. The staff were also very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better.

That said, my personal take on the food might not be the best benchmark since I could see how much others loved it. I tried the quesadillas and found them a bit plain — more like pulled pork in a wrap than the flavorful dish I was expecting. The tacos...
