Flavourless curry all around, but stay away from the rice dishes. Ingredients would have been unacceptable in a high school cafeteria in an impoverished school districts. As others noted, soupy to the point of water, even the usually thicker penang curry--which had never seen a peanut. At least the noodles soaked up some of the flavorless glop. Dining room was dreary and greasy feeling. Sorry to be negative but I was really looking forward to Thai food.

I'm also not impressed by the snotty defensive comments added by the owner, accusing posters of lying. I have no reason to defame you, I just wanted a decent meal.

We order pad thai from here often. My grandson loves the tofu (I dont mind it either) and we get the chicken often and shrimp (wish there was more of those swimmers in there but for the price its just right!) Owner is extremely accommodating as we all like different heat levels and have a lot of specific requests. We have never had a bad meal from here. The spring rolls are delicious and everything is fresh and hot. We usually do take out but I have dined in once..possibly twice. Service is always good and owner is very attentive. I definitely recommend giving them a try! Only complaint is I want pad thai today and you are closed lol but that is just a me problem! Probably see you...

First time trying Roy Thai in Leamington and it was good, no great but that may have just been the item that I ordered. The Lad Nar really lacked flavour, I added some extra spice and peanut sauce to the broth to make it taste a bit better which helped but it was still underwhelming. One of the reasons why I didn't give this place a 4 star is because I ordered the item with tofu but found a piece of chicken in it! (while I'm not a vegetarian, this could have been an issue if I was). The service was very friendly so I will return again to try something else that usually has more flavour like green curry or pad thai. Stay tuned for another review once...
