Hankki South Lethbridge — Restaurant in Lethbridge

We tried Hankki tonight for the first time and WOW! Very good! They have a nice menu with not a whole bunch of options to overwhelm you (which i like, keep it simple). I had the #4 and the #5 cheese dog. I have been wanting to try a Korean corn dog forever and omg SOOOO GOOOOD the cheese pull is amazing lol the batter on the Mozzarella dog was delicious. My number #4 bugolgi was really good, I got a regular and couldn't finish it because it's a really great portion for being a regular! Their sauces are really good too! We also tried the honey butter fries, they where different, the fries themselves where super crispy it was just different having them sweet but then again that's just our preference, next time we will try the bbq ones! As a regular customer who has always appreciated the service and atmosphere at your establishment, I was quite surprised and disappointed by how I was treated during my last visit.

On this occasion, I was assisted by a cashier I had not encountered before—she may be new. Unfortunately, I found her tone and manner of speaking toward me to be noticeably curt and unfriendly, especially when compared to how she interacted with other customers around me. The difference in treatment left me feeling uncomfortable and, frankly, discriminated against. It raised the question in my mind whether I was being treated differently because I am Asian.

While I understand that everyone can have an off day, I believe that all customers deserve to be treated with equal respect...

We recently stopped by here for a corn dog, a new place we had never been…. We tried and shared 3 different dogs that day, The whole mozzarella, the yellow dress and the ugly potato, all of them were amazing. The next day we were back, the yellow dress was beyond delicious and I now have craving for it!

Today is our fourth trip and we thought we should try something else, life cannot be all corn dogs… so today we are sharing honey butter fries and sweet crispy Korean fried chicken, both are also delicious!!

The food is tasty, the portions are good comes out HOT! And the staff are lovely, and the prices are reasonable, we will be coming back again and again…..
