I got one each of the mango shrimp, chicken and beef tacos on corn tortillas (I need gluten free) and my husband got the perogy poutine. I've had the mango shrimp tacos in the past there and was very pleased but they told me they weren't able to offer the shrimp gluten free anymore but that they would replace it with grilled chicken. I was fine with that. But once I got to the car I noticed that the same pulled chicken (in the regular chicken taco) was used instead of grilled chicken. I like the regular chicken taco but with the mango toppings it wasn't the right mix of flavors or textures imo so I would not get this again (if you can get it with shrimp though, it's very good) Also the mango shrimp taco is $7 and the pulled chicken taco is $6. I was changed the higher price even though the same meat was used. Honestly though these tacos are very full and very flavorful. All in all I was very pleased with my meal. My husband found the perogy poutine dry (though he opted out of the sour cream, so that could explain it) he also wasn't crazy about the seasoning on the fries. I was so excited to try this place since I’d heard so many good things. However I left disappointed. While the portions weren’t bad for the price, half the portions in the burrito we ordered (as well as the bowl we got) was just cabbage. Just picked up food from here, and it was disgusting! My burrito barely had meat and the rice was half cooked! My husbands bowl was the same very crunchy hard rice with tiny tiny shreds of chicken and the rest was veggies & crunchy hard rice 🤮🤮🤮you think for 30$ ( for chicken bowl & regular burrito) you’d get your moneys worth but nope!
