Streats West Lethbridge — Restaurant in Lethbridge

I wasn't sure what rating to give for the food, so I'll just be generous with it as it's possible it was accidental on the restaurants part, or coincidental on mine (Though I don't know what else could've caused my symptoms).

I ordered some food for the first time here a couple of days ago. The employees weren't mean nor kind, they were sort of detached, but everyone has those days, so I didn't mind. I just wanted a small snack, so I ordered the 'Not Chik'n Nuggets' and asked for some vegan-chipotle mayo on the side. The nuggets tasted good, but I have an mild-moderate allergy/intolerance to eggs and had some stomach discomfort within a few minutes after eating the meal, and I started experiencing nausea/vomiting the next day as well. I think the symptoms are fading now though.

Update: I contacted the owner per her request and through her response to me, she's shown herself to be very kind and caring for her customers experiences. She made up for the mistake and assured me that she will be taking measures to make sure this doesn't happen again. I also received a hand drawn note from the restaurant which was unexpected...

So I wanted to love this place. The vibes were awesome inside. The music, the mural; very dope! We ordered through online for pick up. Let’s start with the two tacos, shrimp and fish. If I didn’t know I ordered fish I would have thought it was very dry breaded chicken. The cabbage was blah, the crème was off. Now the shrimp bowl, another miss. The rice was very dry , unfortunately the worst bowl we’ve ever had :( couldn’t even finish that one. Now here comes the kids meal, fries and chicken fingers. Chicken was rock hard and dry. I like to take the breading off so my daughter can eat the chicken and that was nearly impossible with the hard batter and hard thin chicken inside. I came across this Eatery by chance on the Internet. We went there for lunch today, the place is clean and trendy . The food was excellent, my Husband had the Perogy Poutine, I thought he was going to lick the bowl, lol, I had Mango Shrimp bowl plus a piece of fish which was done to perfection. Fish is a Tuesday Special $3 for 1 piece $3 for fries $3 for a drink . I think Thursday Special is Tacos . The service was A1, there is a very friendly Vibe there. The owner was Prompt and courteous and efficient. The prices are on par with other Restaurants. If you are looking for a new place to try this is a must. We will certainly...
