A&W Canada — Restaurant in Longueuil

I cannot begin to explain how disgusted I am with this location. Yesterday, Wednesday June 22nd at 8pm, my boyfriend and his friend stop to get a burger. As they are walking in, there is another man walking in at the same time. A woman approached them, looked at my boyfriend and his friend and told them they could not go in to buy burgers, but the other man can. My boyfriend, puzzled by this, asked why? She replied “oh, we’re closing we’re not taking anymore orders” then looked at the other man and said “but you can go in a buy one”. It’s unfortunate that I have to say this for people to understand why she might act this way. My boyfriend (Latino) and his friend( black) had just come from working outside all day and were pretty dirty. The man who she was telling can go in to buy a burger was white. Even he couldn’t believe why she was saying this. So my boyfriend and his friend left, they did not want to cause any trouble. When they got in the truck they googled it and saw the burger joint actually closed at 10pm. I don’t know who that little girl was working that night, but...

Went through the drivethrough at supper time, but there were no other cars yet, and only 3 vehicles parked outside. Extremely slow service. I waited 3mins at the com system before asking if anyone was even there.. they answer a quick yes and to please wait. Another 3mins goes by... they finally take my order, but not everything appears on the screen so I doublechecked with them to make sure the order was right before pulling up. They confirmed when I repeated it, but still not everything was on the screen, so I didn't know the cost before getting to the window. I get to the window and pay, and they tell me to pull around the building to wait and they'll bring it out. Wait almost 10mins... they bring things out but a drink is missing. Waited 25 minutes to get my order at the drive through, but it was at noon so in the peak. Had to wait in the parking lot after paying which is not too bad but with the price of gas and the heat of summer it is a pain. When the guy finally brought our order for 4 people, he just kept stuffing my face with the different bags and boxes (for the kids), without giving me a chance to actually grab the stuff. I thought I was in a comedy show when I turned my head to say "seriously?!" but he was already gone. We had quite the laugh for how ridiculous it was but in terms of service I would have rated 0 stars, since on top of that the cashier was stone cold.
