Well to start off, our order was made at 6:10PM, and it stated that the estimated time delivery was 50 minutes. No big deal. Our pizza decided to show up about 5 minutes to 8... Thats almost 2 hours! Anyways, wasnt that big of a deal at that moment, so we get inside and open up our pizza... We ordered a meat lovers Large, and for some odd reason there happened to be mushrooms on it... As far as I know, meat lovers states its meat, not vegtables... So I knew they made a mistake. Again, no big deal. This location has been known to lie to there customers in the past, so instead of telling them they messed up and them potentially trying to cover it up, I called and asked them what specifically goes on your meat lovers pizza. The woman on the phone said what goes on it, and I gave her another chance to potentially say mushrooms go on it. Anwyways, I ask her one last time, are you sure thats everything that goes on that pizza and she says yes. So I tell her politely, it seems like you guys messed up on our order, we have mushrooms on our pizza. Now, im not a big fan of mushrooms but i would have just eaten it had the woman on the phone not gone the route she did. She literally tried to argue with me on the phone that when i called i told them i wanted a classic pizza... Jokes on them, we placed the order online... And when I told them that she said point blank, well you didnt specify which pizza you wanted so you clicked classic... WHAT?! So anyways, I told the woman on the phone to just hold on a moment so my wife could pull up our order on Gmail to make sure we didnt make a mistake. Nope. It clearly stated we ordered a Meat lovers pizza. So yeah, she argued with me for about 5 or 10 minutes on the phone before she realized either "Okay I cant get out of this" or she realized "Oh goodness, looks like we did make a mistake" Either way, if you dont know what your talking about, then you shouldnt even be arguing with me. So anyways, were kind of just annoyed at this point so I ask her, okay what can we do about this. She litterally says "Well I can refund you and we can take the pizza back, or we can make you a fresh order of a meat lovers pizza and well take the pizza back" Your joking right? Your time was supposed to be 50 minutes and we waited almsot 2 hours! AND I TOLD HER WE ORDERED FOOD BECAUSE WERE HUNGRY SO WE DONT WANT TO HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER 50 minute (2 hour) wait. I explained this to her about three times and she just kept repeating the same thing, "Well I can refund you and we can take the pizza back, or we can make you a fresh order of a meat lovers pizza and well take the pizza back" All im litterally asking for is either a refund and the pizza just be free or allow us to have another pizza for free. My original goal was just to inform them that they messed up our order, but if your gonna tell me im wrong when im not and argue with me about it, A PAYING CUSTOMER, yeah your damn right, i should get a refund or get a free pizza. So anyways, the ending of the story goes like this. She just kept repeating the same thing so I just told her point blank "Okay you know what? Its fine, im done arguing with you about your mess up, ill eat this pizza and well order from someone else from now on." And then she just says "well you can call the manager at some point and explain the situation and who knows maybe youll get a 10 percent discount" Wow, a 10 percent discount when you guys were the ones that messed up MY order and tried to tell me it was MY FAULT. Yeah okay... Anyways, I guess when I told her I look forward to speaking with your manager she started shaking in her boots. She called me back almost seconds later and told me she called the manager and he has agreed to give us a 50 percent discount. 50 percent at this point isnt even worth it anymore. Not happy with the experience we were given. Ignroant and disrespectful to ever blame customers for your own mistakes. Simply pathetic. Read moreThe manager went above and beyond when the delivery driver was over an hour late, had massive attitude and spoke unprofessionally and aggressively towards me while still sitting in his car and yelling YO from the parking lot rather than knocking.
When I called to report his level of unprofessionalism and arograncy to the manager; stating that I would have even took the food if the driver could confirm if my order was still hot (which he refused to do), she then informed me she would delivery my order to me personally.
I was truely impressed with the way she handled the complaint and I hope no other customer has to deal with that particular delivery driver, as he clearly was having a real bad day and taking it out on people or just lacked proper human morals.
