We have been meaning to try King Town for a while now, as we pass it regularly it just isn't our local spot. Decided to give it a go tonight, and we weren't disappointed! The woman on the phone was very friendly but also efficient. We couldn't believe that everything was ready in 10 minutes! By the time we drove there it was bagged and ready to go. We ordered chicken balls, mushroom fried rice, and fried vermicelli singapore style noodles. First of all, the mushroom fried rice is so fresh - and they're real mushrooms which makes me happy. It was really flavourful! There were a few big chunks of white rice inside of the rice, but it happens. We have always preferred lemon chicken sauce over sweet and sour, but prefer the balls over the pieces. The woman was very accommodating and allowed us to have lemon sauce on the side instead. The ratio of chicken to batter is really good! Big pieces of meat. The lemon sauce is tasty, too. My husband is the only one who eats the singapore noodles; he grew up in England where they tend to be a bit spicier and more of a chilli flavour than curry. He said the shrimp and pork inside of the noodles were good sized and flavored pieces, he just misses the spiciness that we haven't found here yet. Overall, a really good experience - we would definitely go here again to try other things. Hopefully dine in is open soon!

Good food. Fast. Friendly server. The staff member cleaning floors with heavy smelling chlorine next to us while we were eating was a bit off-putting. Pictured below is combo "L" **Management reached out and apologized for cleaning mixup. Have returned several times and have been quite happy

I'm pretty picky overall and especially with chinese food. King town is my all time favorite. Great Singapore noodles, super awesome egg rolls - mmm bbq pork. Do yourself the favor and go there!

Overall - 46/50 I definitely recommend it. (Details bellow)

Service - 9/10 great service, they were really friendly and it would’ve been a 10/10 but I feel like they could’ve checked our table a bit more often

Sanitation - 8/10 the place was really clean it’s just the bathrooms were kind of dirty, like the walls, door and floor

Convenience - 10/10 there was a hand sanitizer bottle on a table, the bathrooms were easy to find, the tables were comfortable and there was even a sofa for people waiting on take out

Decor - 10/10 the place was really colourful and everywhere you looked you would see a decoration like on the walls floor and even ceiling. They even went as far as to put a fish tank full of fish

Food - 9/10 everything was good but the noodles were a bit dry. Also we ordered food for two and there was a big plate of rice, a bunch of lemon chicken and probably 20 chicken balls. In my opinion it was a bit too much...

Had this place a few times with no issues. Tonight is a different story. I just threw $40 worth of food in the garbage. Bones and other hard pieces of I don’t know what throughout my chicken. Sweet and sour pork for some reason was done like chicken balls (they’ve never done it like this before) and anywhere else I’ve ordered Chinese from in 30 years has never done it that way either. Pork was over cooked and tough as nails. Called them to let them know about it and nothing. Did not try to make amends what so ever… will...
